Violence was once or twice in the first month, and there was no fixed time. After the fight, Han Yue went to his son's house to sleep for a night. Han Mei said that Han Yue eloped out and told her parents about many things, and she also felt that the divorce was not glorious. Han Mei felt that her sister couldn't bear to leave her children, "What I think about is to have a full meal, and the children will be fine if they grow up."

Han Yue's parents have come to Lianxing two or three times, but they are useless. Han Yue's third brother lived in Lianxing for two years and beat Zhang Jiande up. Zhang Jiande was looking for him everywhere with an axe. The third brother hid for a while and moved away. Zhang Errong still remembers vaguely that when she was in her teens, her mother filed for divorce with her father, and her father threatened, "If it is divorced, I will kill your parents."

Zhang Jiande doesn't like Han Yue going back to her parents' home. Once, she wanted to escape again. When she met her neighbor Meng Qingyun on the village road, Han Yue pulled down her collar and a big scar on her neck was opened by Zhang Jiande with scissors two or three months ago. She quietly told Meng Qingyun that she would help hide her clothes into the field of Longwang Temple. She took the fishing boat in the nearby Zhenxing Village, crossed the Nenjiang River, and then walked over the Heishantou. She went to the Hongyan Town, in Inner Mongolia to take the train. Zhang Errong remembers that she would help other households come forward when she goes to the market. Just like when he was young, Sun Xiuhua remembers that Han Yue is still easy to joke. She likes to chat under the trees and greet people from a distance. This is her daily life that she tries her best to protect.

In the 1980s, the land was divided into households, Han Yue and Zhang Jiande rented the land out, and the cooperative paid dividends of 10,000 or 20,000 yuan a year. Zhang Errong recalled that in 1997, his father planted land for two years. In 1998, he bought a transport truck. He and his brother sports car went to the mines more than 200 miles away to pull coal. Han Yue and Zhang Jiande sold coal in the village and earned 30,000 to 40,000 a year. In the past two years, Zhang Jiande has not been making money in winter and works with his son. Zhang Errong was used to it and numb to the long-term domestic violence. After pulling coal, she returned home and slept in the next room. When her father scolded him, he knocked on the wall hard.

After 2004, Zhang Errong moved to Nenjiang County to live and opened an auto repair shop. When he was 16 years old, he went to Jilin to join the army and work. Later, in order to save coal, he lived with his parents and stayed in Lianxing Village. The farthest place he had been to was Harbin, who had dropped out of junior high school. Song Xiaoqin received a WeChat message from her daughter, "Mom, are you sleeping? I'm very scared." Although her granddaughter has seen domestic violence scenes, it's the first time she's so serious. She told Song Xiaoqin that when she walked into the back room, she saw her grandmother's nose bleeding and begging for mercy. Zhang Jiande saw her granddaughter coming in and covered Han Yue's nose with a sock, "Go back to the house quickly."

Song Xiaoqin said that the child used to have a deep relationship with his grandfather, but he rarely went home later. That night, my granddaughter didn't dare to sleep all night.

In December last year, when I sat opposite me and talked about the past, Zhang Erhui fell into regret and silence. He asked several times: "Will you tie him up and beat him up?" He discussed with his brother, but was afraid that his father would beat his mother even more violently.

Zhang Erhui's few counterattacks occurred in the summer of 2019. After drinking, he arrived home at 11 o'clock. He heard the scolding next door, and his father was kicking his mother. In the winter of 1982, Han Yue's second son Zhang Erhui was born. The day after he was born, Zhang Jiande didn't know where he went. Han Mei went to her sister's house to serve her confinement period. Han Yue lived in a short, airy, and wore a quilt at night, and got up to feed the child.

Later, she took up powder , and she worked for more than 20 years. A piece of powder costs 80 cents, earning one or two thousand from three to four hundred a month, maintaining basic living expenses and children's tuition fees. When he was young, he had been in his prime for five or six years, and he was always filled with fear. Halfway through the dumplings, Zhang Jiande suddenly returned home and beat Han Yue. The whole house fell into silence, and Zhang Errong could hear the sound of firecrackers from other people's houses, which was lively and loud.

Zhang Errong said that he could escape to his neighbor's house, but his younger brother was still young and could not get out. Once, my younger brother hugged my father's legs and my father slapped him with one hand. My younger brother was so blind that he screamed. He hugged my younger brother and coaxed me.

Violence was once or twice in the first month, and there was no fixed time. After the fight, Han Yue went to his son's house to sleep for a night. Zhang Jiande suddenly appeared at the head of the bed again in the middle of the night, pointing at the top of his head and cursing, so they had to cover themselves with a quilt.

He likes winter the most because his father is not at home, and the children will come to the house to wipe glass balls and porcelain pieces. In Zhang Errong's impression, she rarely goes to the health center and usually finds a barefoot doctor at home and takes anti-inflammatory drugs. I really couldn't hold on. Han Yue returned to her parents' home, and Han Mei remembered five or six times. The sister told her about being abused in front of her parents and wanted to divorce, but the father just said, "If you have a child, it will be too late to say anything." The parents kept her at home to calm down, and gave her food and money to buy clothes for her children.

Han Mei said that Han Yue eloped out and told her parents about many things, and she also felt that the divorce was not glorious. Everyone will say, "How can you enjoy the happiness of a second marriage? I have two kids, and I will go to school and get married, which costs tens of thousands." Han Mei felt that her sister couldn't bear to leave her children, "What I think about is to have a full meal, and the children will be fine if they grow up."

Han Yue's parents have come to Lianxing two or three times, but they are useless. Han Yue's third brother lived in Lianxing for two years and beat Zhang Jiande up. Zhang Jiande was looking for him everywhere with an axe. The third brother hid for a while and moved away. Zhang Errong still remembers vaguely that when she was in her teens, her mother filed for divorce with her father, and her father threatened, "If it is divorced, I will kill your parents."

Zhang Jiande doesn't like Han Yue going back to her parents' home. Once, she wanted to escape again. When she met her neighbor Meng Qingyun on the village road, Han Yue pulled down her collar and a big scar on her neck was opened by Zhang Jiande with scissors two or three months ago. She quietly told Meng Qingyun that she would help hide her clothes into the field of Longwang Temple. She took the fishing boat in the nearby Zhenxing Village, crossed the Nenjiang River, and then walked over the Heishantou. She went to the Hongyan Town, in Inner Mongolia to take the train. She didn't dare to take the ordinary bus route.

"I can't go if I don't leave," Han Yue said, "Look at him, he can kill me."

Meng Qingyun did not agree. Afterwards, she didn't know if Han Yue successfully escaped that time. She only remembered that later Zhang Jiande's sister-in-law was beaten and the wooden cabinet on the kang was smashed. She went over and asked, it was Han Yue who put her clothes on her sister-in-law's house and Zhang Jiande had come.

Because of this, Han Yue drank pesticides once. The second son ran to Liu Fugui's house for help, and Han Yue "squirted out of foam" and Liu Fugui quickly carried her to the health center to get her stomach clean. "That's too much forcing me." Han Yue was rescued and later visited Liu Fugui's family and couldn't help crying.

Later she continued to appear in the market and swear. Meng Qingyun, who set up a stall together, heard her chat about taking medicine, "She said she would not die, she was not killed, she was beaten, can she die? She also has to live for this family."

The surviving Han Yue is busy with the relationship between people in Zhangluo in the village. She is capable and has raised chicks, dogs, and pigs for many years, and grows cabbage, radish, and potatoes in the yard. She is a kind-hearted person. Zhang Errong remembers that she would help other households come forward when she goes to the market. Just like when he was young, Sun Xiuhua remembers that Han Yue is still easy to joke. She likes to chat under the trees and greet people from a distance. This is her daily life that she tries her best to protect.

"Jiande", Han Yue always calls her husband like this, Han Mei can't remember what her brother-in-law calls her sister, "I just asked where your sister went, where your mother went, and where your neighbors did your sister-in-law go."

People started calling her Mrs. Zhang.

In the 1980s, the land was divided into households, Han Yue and Zhang Jiande rented the land out, and the cooperative paid dividends of 10,000 or 20,000 yuan a year. Zhang Errong recalled that in 1997, his father planted land for two years. In 1998, he bought a transport truck. He and his brother sports car went to the mines more than 200 miles away to pull coal. Zhang Errong was used to it and numb to the long-term domestic violence. After pulling coal, she returned home and slept in the next room. When her father scolded him, he knocked on the wall hard.

After 2004, Zhang Errong moved to Nenjiang County to live and opened an auto repair shop. When he was 16 years old, he went to Jilin to join the army and work. Later, in order to save coal, he lived with his parents and stayed in Lianxing Village. The farthest place he had been to was Harbin, who had dropped out of junior high school. "I really want to go out to work in the factory, but I don't know anything else. I know I can't leave. My mother and I have been together for the longest time," said Zhang Erhui. "We are at home, he can be gentle." But he couldn't witness the violence every day, so he parked the coal truck at the intersection and slept in the carriage with a quilt.

Violence makes the whole family shatter.Zhang Errong remembers that once his wife went to slap her, and Zhang Jiande slapped her in the face. When Song Xiaoqin cooks at home, she will be a little salty and will be scolded by her father-in-law.

One thing that impressed Song Xiaoqin was that her daughter went back to her grandparents' house during holidays. At 12 o'clock in the evening, Zhang Jiande beat Han Yue again. Song Xiaoqin received a WeChat message from her daughter, "Mom, are you sleeping? I'm very scared." Although her granddaughter has seen domestic violence scenes, it's the first time she's so serious. She told Song Xiaoqin that when she walked into the back room, she saw her grandmother's nose bleeding and begging for mercy. Zhang Jiande saw her granddaughter coming in and covered Han Yue's nose with a sock, "Go back to the house quickly."

Song Xiaoqin said that the child used to have a deep relationship with his grandfather, but he rarely went home later. That night, my granddaughter didn't dare to sleep all night.

In December last year, when I sat opposite me and talked about the past, Zhang Erhui fell into regret and silence. He asked several times: "Will you tie him up and beat him up?" He discussed with his brother, but was afraid that his father would beat his mother even more violently.

That day, he heard his son's words, Zhang Jiande stood up and wanted to pinch his neck, and Zhang Erhui pressed his father to the kang. "How did he scold my mother? I'll scold you all.
