This issue continues to disassemble another one, adapter body "slim and slender", which can be said to have changed people's inherent impression of laptop adapters. Let's take a look at how it is designed inside.

Continental This adapter comes with a very long USB-C output cable. Compared with the general 65W adapter, this "slim and slender" body makes it more recognizable.

Continental 65W power adapter disassembly
After having a basic understanding of this long-shaped power adapter, we will continue to disassemble it to see how the internal design and materials are used.
First remove the two covers along the input end and extract the internal PCBA module. The module is wrapped in aluminum sheets to dissipate heat and is wrapped in tape to fix it. The edge of

primary master control chip comes from RICHTEK Richtek Technology, model number is RT7786. It is a master control chip suitable for USB PD fast charging power supply. It has standby power consumption below 30mW, supports external thermistor for temperature protection, and has secondary rectifier tube short circuit protection.
switch tube comes from Toshiba , model TK12P60W, is a NMOS with a pressure resistant 600V and a resistance of 265mΩ, and is packaged in DPAK.
