Nandu News Reporter Chen Ziyan Rugby is a sport that is popular all over the world. In Shenzhen, since 2015, tens of thousands of young people have received rugby popularity to varying degrees. Recently, the 2021 Nanshan District Youth Rugby Championship ushered in the finals at Shenzhen Bay Sports Center. The teams in the six major groups gathered in Shenzhen Bay Sports Center to participate in this passionate sport and witness the wonderful competition of athletes together.
It is understood that the 2021 Nanshan District Youth Rugby Championship is sponsored by the Nanshan District Culture, Radio, Television, Tourism and Sports Bureau, hosted by the Nanshan District Sports Federation and Shenzhen Tianxing Daxing Sports Development Co., Ltd., and co-organized by the Nanshan District New Era Civilization Center. The event is divided into two stages. From the opening on May 22 to the final day on August 29, nearly 30 youth rugby teams in 6 age groups have appeared one after another. The teams including Nantou Middle School, Shenzhen University Affiliated Middle School, and Yucai Middle School have experienced more than 70 competitions. The event adopts a point elimination system. The rankings of the first, second place have been decided in each group. In addition, the event also includes individual awards such as Outstanding Athlete, Moral Style Award, Outstanding Coach, Outstanding Referee, and Team Award. After fierce competition, the final decision of the first, second and third place in the six categories was announced.
