Recently, Shengtaiyuan Community began to check in the second batch of public rental housing. Early in the morning of the day of the process, a banner for welcome to check in was hung at the entrance of Shengtaiyuan Community. The check-in site was crowded with people, and many people rushed to complete the procedures and received the keys and accepted the house. This time, the second batch of public rental housing projects in Shengtaiyuan will have 75 residents living in.
To facilitate household processing, Shengtaiyuan Community implements a "one-stop" service for the process of housing management department reviewing and verifying information, collecting rent deposits, charging fees for property and heating units, and registering information of neighborhood committees. At the same time, it has opened a green channel for convenience, simplifying the delivery process, and effectively reducing waiting time.
Deputy Secretary of Shengtaiyuan Community Neighborhood Committee Li Yang introduced: "Public rental housing is targeted at the needy group, mainly mostly disabled, lonely and elderly people living alone. When I first hand over the house, I found these key groups and had some experience. For the disabled, the community neighborhood committee, together with the property and housing management departments, opened a green channel for convenience for the people, to help disabled people and residents with legs and feet directly reach the delivery site and check in for them."
