is now over 50 years old. Due to his early family poverty, he dropped out of school in the fourth grade of elementary school. At the age of 16, he went to Beijing to work, from a construction worker to a loader and a porter, and worked for 6 years. After a little savings, he began to learn to do business, selling vegetables, watermelons, and opening beef noodle restaurants. Over the years, he had both profits and losses.
Once when Yu Hong came home, he occasionally encountered a cow that was injured. The owner was anxious to take action. He bought it for 240 yuan. After slaughtering, the cowhide and beef sold for a total of more than 500 yuan, which made him very happy. This transaction also made him understand that Huating restaurants mostly buy beef from other places, and he saw greater business opportunities.
After some investigation, he became a cattle dealer, purchasing live cattle, slaughtering cattle, and selling meat. From 1 to 2 heads a day, it gradually increased to 6 to 8 heads. It not only supplies Huating locally, but also gradually developed to Baoji and Jingyuan. The business model has also grown from a one-person fight alone to leading more than a dozen people to enter the market together.
On November 8, 1996, Yu Hong registered and established his own company, realizing the transformation from a cattle dealer to a company team, and leading more villagers on the road to common prosperity. That year, he was appointed as the Party Secretary of Pangmo Village. From then on, he began to explore the path to lead the masses to become rich.
He used his company as a guaranteed loan of more than 600,000 yuan, helped 100 farmers build cattle sheds, purchased more than 800 good-bred beef cattle, and the cattle breeding industry has taken root in Pangmo Village since then. Relying on Hongyuan Animal Husbandry Company, Yu Hong initiated the establishment of the Huating Hongyuan Cattle Raising Association, providing farmers with market information, breeding technology and epidemic prevention and control services, creating a new way of "branch association, association leads farmers", making Pangmo Village the "leader" of the county's grass-roots industry.
In 2013, his Hongyuan Animal Husbandry Company launched a new meat slaughtering production line, registered the "Langwa" brand trademark, and has been thoroughly processed about 20,000 high-end beef cattle every year. In order to make the industry more refined and detailed, he formed a R&D team and used different cooking techniques to continuously develop new products according to the quality characteristics of different parts of the beef, which not only improved the efficiency of beef utilization, but also fully demonstrated the unique aroma and taste of Pingliang Red Bull .
Yu Hong has successfully developed the entire industrial chain from cattle raising, slaughtering and processing to catering. After he achieved success in Huating City, he opened the restaurant in the provincial capital Lanzhou in July 2017. According to the characteristics of the local market, he developed a series of high-quality new dishes such as "Honored Fortune", "Heart-to-heart" and "Seafood Porridge in the Flower Pot". Today, Yuhong's "Yu Family Courtyard" is a well-known halal restaurant in Lanzhou. It has a business area of 2,600 square meters and can accommodate 600 people to eat at the same time. It is also one of the few large-scale restaurants opened by Pingliang people in Lanzhou and a representative restaurant of Pingliang Red Bull.
On August 21, good news came from Beijing. Beijing Ziguangyuan Catering Co., Ltd. and Huating Hongyuan Animal Husbandry Co., Ltd. signed a strategic cooperation agreement to order 20,000 "Pingliang Red Bull" and 500 million yuan of beef and beef processed products. Among them, beef products (cold fresh meat, frozen meat, high-end sirloin beef, and high-end beef) total 5,000 tons, with an average price of 80,000 yuan per ton, totaling 400 million yuan; the goods and cowhide are worth 100 million yuan.
Yu Hong took practical actions for PingliangRed Bull to take the lead and explore the way to the provincial capital and capital market.
