Civil Aviation Resources Network September 29, 2019: On September 20, the launch meeting of SkyTeam Hangzhou Station was held at Xiamen Airlines Hangzhou Branch. Eastern Airlines, Xiamen Airlines , Korean Air , KLM, Vietnam Airlines and other airlines attended the meeting. The meeting was officially authorized by SkyTeam Alliance to be the alliance's transfer service station. At this point, Xiamen Airlines Hangzhou Station became SkyTeam Alliance's only service transfer station in Hangzhou and the second East China service transfer station.
In January 2019, Xiamen Airlines began to conduct "Affiliate Re-Reservation" business training for relevant local service personnel at Hangzhou Station, and applied for this business authority from SkyTeam Alliance. After approval, it provided a series of convenient services such as re-signing and extension of Xiamen Airlines' transit passengers in Hangzhou. In the past six months of transfer service guarantee, this service has greatly improved the service experience of passengers who come to Hangzhou and has been highly recognized by the alliance.
It is reported that Hangzhou Station is the third domestic transit service station authorized by SkyTeam Alliance in addition to Xiamen and Fuzhou. The service station can open services to all member airlines of the alliance, effectively improving the service remediation capabilities of alliance airlines under abnormal flight conditions and enhancing the overall competitiveness of alliance airlines.
