The economic volume of the five provinces and cities in the southeast coastal areas accounts for more than one-third of the country, with fiscal revenue accounting for nearly 40% of the total, and contributed nearly 80% of the local government's net remittance to the central and western regions, which strongly supported the national financial resources and the central government's transfer payments to the central and western regions. The strong economic competitiveness is largely achieved through hard work in the international market.
