The train was also stopped on the platform for inspection. Taiwan Railway Bureau responded that the 5th train of Taoyuan=Miaoli train had an abnormal motor. In order to ensure safety, it has stopped and passengers were asked to transfer to the 2273 train.
Some people on the PTT gossip board on the evening of the 6th said that a large amount of smoke suddenly appeared in the train parked in Yingge south. It felt like something was burning, which made the passengers very frightened and couldn't help complaining that something happened at the Taiwan Railway in three days. Fortunately, there was no accident this time. A passenger in the same car replied, "Just as Yingge got off the bus, I smelled the burnt smell before getting off the bus. I saw a pile of smoke coming out of the car, which was super smelly. The new interval car , 1247 flights."
In response to this, Taiwan Railway stated that the abnormal vehicle will be pulled back from the locomotive head to the seven-door locomotive section without power, and will be inspected by the bureau and the car dealer.
