Tesla launched the children's electric car Cyberquad For Kids on Thursday, priced at $1,900 and will start shipping within 2 to 4 weeks.
This electric four-wheel ATV (all-terrain car) was very popular and was sold out shortly after it was launched, although Tesla said that orders are not guaranteed to be delivered before Christmas. Tesla's website was restocked sometime on Thursday and then snatched away again.
In terms of appearance, this children's ATV is very similar to the Cyberquad, but the size is reduced. The children's version of Cyberquad is suitable for children over 8 years old, with a maximum speed of 10 mph (about 16 km/h) and a maximum range of 15 miles (about 24 km). As a kid-oriented model, the children's Cyberquad does not support Tesla's Supercharger supercharger network, and it takes 5 hours to fully charge it.
In addition, the children's version of Cyberquad also requires parents to assemble it by themselves, and it will be divided into at least 18 parts when it arrives. Tesla fans are also unable to give it to their children as Christmas gifts, as the company said the orders are not guaranteed to be delivered before Christmas.
