Zhang Youliang, born in rural Luzhou, Sichuan in 1971, came to Zhongshan in 1995. He worked as a front-line factory worker and worked as a coolie on the construction site. By chance, he entered the optical industry and founded Everbright Optics with more than 100,000 yuan in hand in 2005. With his spirit of hard work and good reputation, he overcomes all obstacles and pushes the company to a group development model. His revenue last year exceeded 300 million yuan, and building an industry benchmark enterprise was his unchanging goal.

Zhang Youliang introduced that in recent years, the industry has developed in a good environment, and it can be said that the entire industry is not short of orders. In 2020, Everbright Optics established a factory in Shangrao, Jiangxi, which is known as the "world's largest optical lens production base", and officially started production, covering an area of more than 50,000 square meters, specializing in the production of VR glasses, intelligent visual equipment, etc. At this point, Everbright Optics has formed a group development model with Zhongshan as its headquarters and owned 5 companies, covering all optical businesses such as laser projection, mobile phone lenses, and face recognition, becoming the top ten high-tech enterprise in the field of prism and lenses in the Guangdong-Hong Kong Greater Bay Area.

Zhang Youliang introduced that Everbright Optics' prism technology originated from the technology of Singapore Leica Company. 2008 was the global financial crisis. Everbright Optics, which was established for only three years, was almost desperate, with less than 10 employees left. Fortunately, thanks to the recommendation of a friend, it formed a strategic partner with the internationally renowned company Leica Group. At that time, the company came to Guangdong to find suppliers. Due to the high quality requirements for orders, many varieties and small batches, large domestic companies were unwilling to accept orders. Zhang Youliang tried to produce one or two lenses, but the cooperation between the two parties was out of control.
Since then, Leica Group not only provides sufficient production orders, but also directly brings top technology, helping Everbright Optics purchase hundreds of thousands of yuan of international advanced testing equipment and send engineers to Zhongshan's permanent factory to guide production, so that Everbright Optics' technical strength has been rapidly improved. Since 2016, it has won high-tech enterprises, provincial innovative top 500 enterprises, and national technology-based enterprises.
Zhang Youliang admitted that in terms of absolute turnover, the scale of Everbright Optics is not large at present, but he will always stick to his original aspirations, constantly innovate, make fine products, and provide good services. He believes that he can carry forward "Everbright" in the field of optics, build the company into a first-class benchmark enterprise in China, and even catch up with optical technologies in Germany, Japan and other countries.
In the exhibition hall of Everbright Optics, various optical products such as gun scopes, telescopes, lenses, etc. are displayed in the glass cabinet, and each piece represents the industry's advanced technology; in the production workshop of Everbright Optics, there is no trace of dust on the green plastic floor, and all employees are wearing work clothes and shoe covers. Zhang Youliang introduced that the company has reached friendly cooperation with internationally renowned companies such as Singapore's Leica Group, Germany's Carl Zeiss, Taiwan's Baosheng BASO, Japan's Fuji FUJI, and Canon. The products are widely used in Google glasses, endoscopes, palm print recognition and other aspects.
