On February 6, 1958, Manchester United, who went to participate in the quarterfinals of the European Champions League away, prepared to return to Manchester with the joy of victory. Due to weather reasons, the plane tried three takeoffs. During the third takeoff, the plane stalled and broke out of the runway and broke into two pieces, and hit a big tree and nearby trucks. Turin: Team of God fell on Supega
in the last century, Turin can be said to be the dominant one, with 10 of the 11 starters of the Italian national team , and is known as the "Team of God", but all of this came to an abrupt end with the Supega air crash. On May 4, 1949, on the way back to Turin after participating in the match against Benfica, the plane hit Mount Supega outside Turin due to weather reasons, resulting in the death of 31 people, including 18 players. After the air crash, the entire team of Turin was wiped out, and the Italian national team also remained silent for nearly 20 years under the influence of the air crash.
