20 Taiwan leaders and legislative elections will be voted on today (11th). Tsai Ing-wen is leading the way and is elected as the next Taiwan leader.

Taiwan's 2020 election ended at 4 pm, and the voting operation began immediately. Tsai Ing-wen led the way and broke through 1 million votes at 16:45. Since then, the gap between Tsai Ing-wen and Han Kuo-yu gradually widened. At around 8:43 pm, Han Kuo-yu, who was lagging behind Tsai Ing-wen for more than 2 million votes, accompanied by Li Jiafen and Han Bing on stage to express their defeat speech, thanking voters for their support, and hoping that after the election, we can see a united Taiwan.
In the 2018 nine-in-one election, Han Kuo-yu won 892,545 votes in Kaohsiung , leading the DPP Chen Chi-mai's 742,239 votes. In this election, Han Kuo-yu won about 600,000 (34%).
Taiwan's previous regional leaders' election votes
Taiwan's direct election for regional leaders began in 1996. Lee Teng-hui of the Kuomintang was elected with a vote rate of 54.0% (5.813699 votes), and his deputy was Lien Chan.
In 2000, Chen Shui-bian of the DPP was elected with a vote-winning 39.3% (4.97 million votes), and his deputy was Lu Xiu-lien. This was the first party rotation.
In 2004, Chen Shui-bian of the DPP was re-elected with a vote-winning rate of 50.0% (6.47 million votes), and his deputy was still Lu Xiulien.
In 2008, the Kuomintang’s Ma Ying-jeou was elected with a vote-winning rate of 58.5% (7.6 million votes), and his deputy was Xiao Wanchang.
In 2012, the Kuomintang’s Ma Ying-jeou was re-elected with a vote-winning rate of 51.6% (6.89 million votes), and his deputy was Wu Dun-yi.
In 2016, Tsai Ing-wen of the DPP was elected with a vote-winning 56.1% (6.89 million votes), and her deputy was Chen Jianren.
"Zhongsheng Election Association" set up 17,226 vote opening centers across Taiwan and set up 368 selection centers.
"Political Octopus Brother"
, nicknamed "Octopus Brother" by the outside world, Jiandeli, New Taipei City Yingge District, completed the ticketing at 16:46, Tsai Ing-wen led by 232 votes, Han Kuo-yu and Song Chuyu had 138 votes and 21 votes respectively.
Jiandeli has been voted for 8 times since the governor's election in 1994, and the results of the votes are consistent with the election because they are nicknamed "Squidward Brother". Experts believe that since the local blue-green ratio and the number of middle voters are similar to the proportion of the whole Taiwan, the voting results here also show a tendency to vote across Taiwan.
, while Tianyuli, Shilin District, Taipei is a Taipei City election data specimen. The votes were issued at around 6 o'clock in the evening. Tsai Ing-wen had a total of 3,038 votes, with a vote rate of 54.65%, Han Kuo-yu 2,238 votes, with a vote rate of 40.26%, and Song Chuyu 217 votes, with a vote rate of 3.9%.
