At 9:45 am, Ms. Hu had to go through the discharge procedures for her baby. What surprised her was that these tedious procedures could be completed in the nurse station on the inpatient floor. In less than 5 minutes, the discharge settlement procedures were completed. "This is the convenience brought by Internet+ medical care to patients and families." Wang Ying, director of Zhongshan Boai Hospital, said that the use of the Internet of Things and more information technology will have a disruptive impact on the medical community.
htmlOn the morning of July 11, a seminar on "Internet + Medical" information was held in Zhongshan. Experts and scholars from the medical circles on both sides of the Taiwan Strait shared their experience in hospital information construction. Wu Zhongqing, deputy director of the Municipal Health and Family Planning Bureau, introduced that Zhongshan is currently vigorously promoting the "Internet + Medical" transformation, and it is expected that 28 public hospitals in the city will achieve interconnection of diagnosis and treatment information by the end of this year.Boai Hospital piloted "Bedside Payment"
11, Xu Huiheng, director of the Taichung Veterans General Hospital in Taiwan, shared the hospital's innovative measures in informatization, such as developing a ventilator automated recording system and launching a cloud drug calendar query system.
People in the medical field believe that drug integration can help improve drug safety, but the biggest difficulty facing promoting drug integration is the inability to quickly obtain patients' past drug information. To this end, Taichung Veterans General Hospital has launched a cloud-based drug calendar query system, which can instantly check the patient's medication details for the past 3 months, including the source of the prescription, main diagnosis, pharmacological effects of the drug, the name of the finished product, the usage and dosage of the drug, and the date of the patient's medical treatment.
"After the patient comes to the hospital, as long as the health insurance card is inserted, no matter which hospital he was in before, all the information within 3 months will be presented. In addition, through the platform, the pharmacist starts to distribute the medicine after seeing the prescription, and will also give the doctor feedback on the medication suggestions. The two can maintain communication. The system's automatic screening can provide the patient's recent medication to the doctor for reference, ensuring a significant decrease in the patient's total medication days and avoiding the occurrence of repeated medication." Xu Huiheng said.
In the exploration of "Internet + Medical care", Zhongshan Boai Hospital has made many attempts. In order to save time for patients and their families, the Municipal Boai Hospital piloted "bedside payment" in the fourth district of pediatrics. After the doctor issued a "discharge" medical order, the nurse directly swiped the POS machine card to charge the patient and gave the discharge summary. When the patient left the hospital, he could print the invoice and stamp it at the hospital charger on the first floor of the pediatrics.
"In fact, patients who come to the hospital for medical treatment have waste a lot of their time in line. After launching the bedside settlement system, the hospital has formed a closed-loop management in the self-service medical payment of patients. Patients who visit medical treatment can pay through WeChat payment, inter-patient payment, cash settlement, self-service machine payment, hospital bedside settlement, etc., saving the waiting time for back and forth and long queues, and convenient for discharged patients." Wang Ying said.
Liao Xinbo, inspector of the Guangdong Provincial Health and Family Planning Commission, said that many of the "original" information systems of the two hospitals are at the forefront and are worth learning from by major hospitals.
set up a "virtual card" to integrate diagnosis and treatment information of various hospitals
In addition to the Municipal Boai Hospital, the author learned from the meeting that a new "Internet + Medical" model transformation is taking place in Zhongshan.
According to Wu Zhongqing, Zhongshan has now built a regional health information platform to unify the city's diagnosis and treatment business data collection standards. Based on this platform, in 2015, the inspection and examination results and diagnosis and treatment information of the tertiary hospitals such as Municipal People's Hospital, Municipal Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital, Municipal Boai Hospital, and Xiaolan People's Hospital have been interconnected. In the first half of this year, Zhongshan completed the interconnection work of the first batch of five new access platforms in town hospitals. It is planned to divide 24 town hospitals in the city into three batches this year to complete data collection and information interconnection work.
In addition, based on the establishment of the appointment registration system for 4 Grade A hospitals in 2015, in the first half of this year, Zhongshan launched APP and WeChat promotion work based on the city's unified number source. The Municipal Health and Family Planning Bureau plans to use the virtual card function provided by the Health Zhongshan APP to achieve multi-card integration. The "one card" for diagnosis and treatment will be launched by the end of the year. Patients can seek medical treatment and pay fees in public hospitals across the city with their cards.
"In the third quarter, we need to complete the data collection of the second batch of medical institutions, start the community promotion of mobile applications, and the trial operation of the diagnosis and treatment one-card platform. By the end of the year, we will realize the interconnection of diagnosis and treatment information and the promotion of the diagnosis and treatment one-card platform application of the diagnosis and treatment information in 28 public hospitals across the city." Wu Zhongqing introduced.
It is worth mentioning that the "one card" of diagnosis and treatment that has attracted much attention from citizens will be promoted in the form of a virtual card. Wu Zhongqing revealed that the municipal health and family planning department is expected to work with the human resources and social security department to enter the information of more than 2.7 million insured persons in the city into the regional health information platform by the end of the year. At that time, citizens will be activated by holding social security cards in their hands. The information on the card and other hospital diagnosis and treatment card information will be bound to the Healthy Zhongshan APP. Appointment registration, self-service payment, hospitalization settlement, etc. can be achieved with the help of one card.
