People's Daily Beijing, June 20 (Reporter Cui Yuanyuan) Today, National Health Commission released the latest situation of the new coronavirus pneumonia on its official website as of 24:00 on June 19. From 0:00 to 24:00 on June 19, 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 23 new confirmed cases, all of which were imported cases from abroad (12 in Guangdong, 4 in Yunnan, 3 in Shanghai, 2 in Zhejiang, 1 in Fujian, and 1 in Sichuan); no new deaths; no new suspected cases.
16 new cured and discharged cases on the same day, 489 close contacts were released from medical observation, and the number of severe cases decreased by 3 compared with the previous day.
There are 363 confirmed cases of imported cases from abroad (including 8 severe cases), and 1 suspected case. A total of 6,398 confirmed cases have been reported, 6,035 cured and discharged cases have been reported, and no deaths have been reported.
As of 24:00 on June 19, according to reports from 31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities directly under the central government) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps, there are 510 confirmed cases (including 18 severe cases), 86,441 cured and discharged cases, 4,636 deaths, 91,587 confirmed cases, and 1 suspected case. A total of 1047,938 close contacts have been traced, and 16,348 close contacts are still under medical observation.
31 provinces (autonomous regions, municipalities) and the Xinjiang Production and Construction Corps reported 20 new asymptomatic infections (all imported from abroad); 9 cases were converted to confirmed cases on the same day (all imported from abroad); 8 cases were released from medical observation on the same day (all imported from abroad); 458 asymptomatic infections are still under medical observation (437 imported from abroad).
