IT Home October 17th news, display analyst Ross Young said the upcoming Apple 11-inch iPad Pro 2022 will adopt the LED Liquid retinal display in the current generation model, rather than the newer Mini-LED display technology in the larger 12.9-inch size.
Ross Young responded on Twitter, reiterating the previous revelation that the 11-inch iPad Pro new product will not receive the updated Mini-LED display technology, which means that users who want more advanced displays still need to purchase the 12.9-inch model. The Liquid Retinal XDR display in

IT Home learned that the 11-inch iPad Pro display is an LED Liquid retinal display, and it still has many of the same features as the 12.9-inch model, but lacks the ultimate dynamic range, higher brightness and deeper black . Ross Young said today that he expects the upcoming 2022 11-inch and 12.9-inch iPad Pro to feature the same display as their respective current generation models.
The new iPad Pro is expected to be a progressive update, with a new chip and possibly new charging capabilities. The new model will use Apple M2 chip, which has improved performance compared to the current model's M1 chip .
Bloomberg Mark Gurman reports that Apple does not intend to hold digital events for these new iPad Pros this month. Instead, Apple is expected to announce new iPad Pro models “within a few days” via press releases and updates on the website.
