During this rainfall, there were 1,664 rainfalls in 1,668 meteorological stations in Liaoning, with an average rainfall of 54.1 mm. The maximum rainfall occurred in the Tianxian Scenic Area in Beizhen City, Jinzhou, reaching 225.6 mm. At present, a total of 30 reservoirs in Liaoning Province are leaking floods beyond the flood limit, and 6 hydrological stations in the main stream of Liaohe exceed the warning water level.
Affected by the rainfall, floods occurred in 121 townships (streets) in 8 cities, including Shenyang, Anshan , Dandong , Jinzhou , etc., and a total of 69,678 people were transferred in the province.
Heavy rainfall caused 35 highways in Liaoning to be interrupted. 296 dangerous situations have been dealt with. From July 28 to 30, heavy rainfall occurred in western and northern areas of Liaoning Province, and some highway infrastructure was damaged or interrupted. Affected by this round of heavy rainfall, Liaoning Province has been interrupted by 35 highways, including 1 expressway, 7 national and provincial trunk lines, and 27 rural roads. After the disaster occurred, Liaoning Province invested 4,379 highway patrols and rescue personnel and 2,521 vehicles and machinery and equipment to deal with 296 dangerous situations such as landslides, roadbed destruction, damage to bridges and culverts and protective facilities, lodging of road trees, water on the road surface, and water accumulation in the underpass.
At present, except for three trunk roads that have been damaged by bridges or severe roadbed collapse, and the water level of ditches near breakpoints in rural roads is generally high, the rest have not yet met the conditions for rushing through.
