Luxembourg has been regarded as the number one country in the "Open Business" subcategory for the third consecutive year, and the small Western Europe is considered the second largest country with a good tax environment, ranking first in transparent government practices and corruption. Switzerland is second again, but Panama has dropped from third last year to eleventh this year. Panama ranks 10th last in terms of transparent government behavior, with Canada replacing Panama with third place and Denmark fourth place, and the country praised for its openness ranks among the top in this ranking. Transparent International rated Denmark as the cleanest country in the world, and the country was ranked 12th the cleanest country in 2020 with the best national report. Danes pay the highest tax rate but think that the fee is an investment in their quality of life. Singapore jumped 7 places to rank 5th, making it the highest ranked country in the Asia-Pacific region.
