Switzerland is second again, but Panama has dropped from third last year to eleventh this year. Panama ranks 10th last in terms of transparent government behavior, with Canada replacing Panama with third place and Denmark fourth place, and the country praised for its openness ranks among the top in this ranking. Transparent International rated Denmark as the cleanest country in the world, and the country was ranked 12th the cleanest country in 2020 with the best national report. Singapore jumped 7 places to rank 5th, making it the highest ranked country in the Asia-Pacific region.
