I don't care much about the shape, it's beautiful and ugly, but I think the iX has a futuristic look in appearance, and the double kidney-shaped water tank shield and other parts also retain the traditional family elements of BMW.

BMW's 360-degree ambient image and other related auxiliary information are originally the highest level in the industry, with high resolution. Even if the lights are dim and HDR-like operations, the details of the dim part can be clearly presented. Moreover, for example, when shuttled through the alley, radar detects an obstacle close to it, it will automatically switch to the viewing angle around the scene, and the system will have a good grasp of the timing of active appearance.
In addition, whenever the ambient lens encounters rain, the lens that I had originally had a dirty problem with will be dirty; but later I found out that the iX lens has a cleaning function, and unlike Taycan, it only has the back, and the iX lens can be cleaned both from the front and rear lenses.

After selecting the reversing position or roadside parking on the screen, iX will quickly park the vehicle, and the adjustment of the steering wheel, gear, and accelerator brake will be automatically completed during the process. In addition, the automatic reversing assistance that can remember the last 50 meters of route is very practical, especially the iX body size is not small, and the iX can also remember the route in the curved and narrow fire lane, which directly helps me backwards.
details are well handled and have a large space. Unfortunately, the inclination angle of the rear seat is not adjustable. In terms of details, iX, like the front and rear doors, are button-type, but in fact, the lower edge of the front and rear door panels also have traditional mechanical handles in the storage area. I think the switching sound of the door without window frames is not good. For example, if I have a friend, I also choose an automatic suction door. After that, you can compare and see if there are any improvements in the suction door. I don't think the metal frame design of the front headrest is good, and short passengers will touch their heads.
As for the air conditioner outlet that can be adjusted in direction or can be turned off, I think this is quite convenient. It is much easier to switch on the screen than Model 3 or Taycan. As for the electronically controlled panoramic glass roof, the effect is good, no matter whether it is transparent or opaque, it is not sunny.
And the space in the iX car room is really spacious, fully leveraging the advantages of the pure electric vehicle platform, like the front seat can penetrate in the two seats, and the front seat is really large and comfortable, and even the front seat is adjusted to almost lie back flat, which is very powerful. I even drove 1,000 kilometers before I found out that I had the function of a driver's seat massage chair, which was a big loss!
part of the rear seat is also very large, but unfortunately there is no grip on the roof of the car. In addition, the backrest of the rear seat is a bit straight, and there is no way to adjust it. In terms of power, the iX xDrive50 has a maximum horsepower of up to 523 horsepower and a maximum torque of 765 Nm of , plus it can accelerate from stationary to speed of 100 kilometers per hour in 4.6 seconds. Of course, the power is nothing to say, and the size and weight of the iX are completely unsatisfied in acceleration. Do you still need to pursue faster? I personally think it's not necessary.
BMW has some confidence in D and B gears. The single pedal setting of B gear is quite practical.
BMW's confidence in the driving experience is also reflected in the design of D and B gears. The iX does not have kinetic energy recycling and adjustment paddles like many other brands of electric vehicles, but does not have paddles like Taycan.
Later I found that the D and B levels of iX are both super easy to use. Although D gear is divided into four adjustable sections: active, strong, medium and weak, it is basically good to maintain the active experience. There is no need to cut other strong, medium and weak. The sliding experience in D gear state is even more oily. The throttle response of the car is quite close.
As for the B gear, it is actually the One-Paddle single pedal mode, which is also super easy to use. Its slowing power is enough. When in the city, you can control the speed with a delicate rhythm and the accelerator pedal. There is almost no need to use the brake pedal at all. Most of the time, the B gear can include the accelerator and brake functions at one time.
The first batch of xDrive50i cars imported from the Taiwan market need to be equipped with rear axle steering and front and rear axle air pressure suspension based on the basis. I personally think these two items of

But I have not owned BMW for more than 1 year. In the middle, I switched to interfaces like Porsche and other brands, and this time I bought iX, I used the new generation of BMW Personal CoPilot.
Like Tesla's AutoPilot automatic assisted driving, I think it's good, but the warning sounds that often jump out are very noisy. Moreover, if Tesla is not equipped with FSD, as long as you turn on the steering light and change lanes, AutoPilot will have to be re-operated and turned on; traditional car manufacturers do not need to reset the steering light after turning on it, which I think is better.
Back to the performance of iX, the distance it changed to ACC this time cannot be changed on the steering wheel at any time, but needs to be adjusted in the iDrive system. Hualien Daka Charging
I drove from Taipei to Hualien and the platform mud Daka park to charge DC DC . When I arrived, I was 8:33 in the morning and the remaining battery was 57%. Then I plugged in the CCS1 charging gun of the Taiwan mud Daka fast charging station, went to the bathroom and bought coffee by the way. The charging time was 8:51. In this way, I charged 78% in about 18 minutes, which was equivalent to charging 21%. The panel of the Taiwan mud charging pile was 23 degrees (kWh). Because the degree did not have a decimal point, it should have been charged 23.8 degrees.
It is worth mentioning that Daka's charging device is an air-cooled gun with a maximum current of 200A, so on the iX that uses a 400V system, the charging power will only reach 80kW, so the charging speed is not very fast.
Hualien Daka When you drive to Tiehua Village in Taitung, you can run 6 kilometers per kilowatt-hour!
Then I continued to go south from Hualien Daka and headed to Taitung Tiehua Village. Most of the roads along the way were driving at normal speeds, including Suhua Gai, Suhua Highway , Hualien City Road, Tai11 Hai Line to Taitung and other sections. I successfully stopped in Taitung for a while to buy food and blow air conditioning in the car. I encountered rain in some sections of the road. In fact, rainy days are not conducive to the energy consumption of electric vehicles. In addition, sometimes I also rush for a while, or if I don’t pay attention, I will drive too fast. When we arrived at Tiehua Village in Taitung, the computer showed that the journey was nearly 210 kilometers, and the final power was 46%, which was equivalent to 32% of the power used up during the driving from Daka in Hualien to Tiehua Village in Taitung. The center console even showed that the energy consumption of Daka in Hualien to Tiehua Village in Taitung was 6km/kWh, which was quite eye-catching with a 2.5-ton electric SUV. In terms of conversion, the real range of full battery can exceed 600 kilometers, and you can challenge 650 kilometers to see.
U-POWER Charging 10 minutes to recharge 33 kWh of electricity, and the battery life is increased by more than 200 kilometers

Then when I was charging here, the battery voltage of the vehicle was actually less than 400V, which may be 370V or 380V. The charging power of 200kW is the theoretical value, but it will actually be lower (about 187~197kW that day).
. I recharged the power in U-POWER Neihu Xingzhong Station for 10 minutes, and I recharged a total of 27%, about 33 degrees (kWh). The dashboard shows that the increased range increases by about 227 kilometers and exceeds 200 kilometers, which can be said to be quite practical!

xDrive50. Although the car price is relatively expensive, it is currently 700,000 more, in terms of "value", I think xDrive50 is a big victory over xDrive0, and even xDrive50 can be said to be quite valued.
In terms of control, the first batch of xDrive50 cars are forced to be equipped with air pressure suspension and rear wheel steering, which I think is a big plus.Compared with the power of xDrive40 and xDrive50, xDrive40 has 326 horsepower and xDrive50 has 523 horsepower. Although both are more than enough for daily use, xDrive50 is like a "wealth-free" person who can use funds flexibly, and has higher flexibility to output power at any time.
iX The price of the car series itself is, I think it is the "super value" product that was born under the pressure of Tesla under the pressure of Tesla and was afraid of being unable to sell. But with the current hot sale of the iX series worldwide, I believe the original manufacturer should adjust the price.
