But it is not because we have given the retirement certificate, and social security will be determined as the payment period.
We must have a complete set of file materials, from political review, to approval of enlistment, as well as our performance in the army, to approval of retirement documents.
Generally, our enlistment files will be managed in the local armed forces department or the civil affairs preferential and remedial placement department. Individuals cannot check their own files at will.
We must bring the corresponding materials to the social security department to confirm. After the certification, we must also use these files when retired and keep them in good condition.
However, such enlistment time is only applicable before July 1, 2012.
Because after July 1, 2012, our country implemented the military insurance law. After we join the army, the country will establish corresponding pension and medical insurance for us in the army.
When an employee is discharged from the army, the employee's pension medical insurance will be transferred to the local area, so there is no need to be determined as a service seniority. But we still need to keep our enlistment files well, because we still need to use them when we retire.
