He has published the poetry collection "Broken and Broken Thoughts", the essay collection "Traveling the Ship", the novel "Sound and Color", the essay collection "The People Who Listen to Songs are the Most Ruthless", and the novel collection "Looking for Avril", etc. He has won the China Writer Publishing Group Award, Lin Yutang Novel Award, Liaoning Literature Award and other awards. He currently works for Anshan Radio and Television Station, vice chairman of Anshan Writers Association, and a signed writer at Liaoning University of Literature.
Some novels, I have written nearly 10,000 words but have not had a suitable name. On the contrary, "White Horse and Silver Gun" is a novel with a name first, and the name was stolen from someone else.
In 2013, I was studying at Luxun Academy of Literature. At a dinner party, I heard my classmate Fu Jiujiang say that he was writing a novel called "White Horse and Silver Gun". I was fascinated by this name all of a sudden and asked him one after another, what is the novel? Why use this name? Can you do not use this name? Can you transfer this name to me? Unexpectedly, my fellow Liaoning villager said generously, I will give it to you! In this way, I felt like I had a pearl-like seed, which touched two aspects of my conception - from the moment I had a name - this is a novel with an opera theme, and it also had a soul-stirring love story. Every writer has some seeds like
, but it is uncertain when they will sprout and whether they will eventually sprout. I remember in 2007, when I was studying at Liaoning University of Literature, I told my classmate An Yong about a real incident about the negatives of the photo. This was told to me by an audience member when I was doing a program on the radio. At that time, An Yong was very interested in the motivation for this story and told me whether he could give this material to him. I was not as generous as Fu Jiujiang and did not agree. I wanted to keep it and write it myself. But nearly 10 years have passed so far, and I haven't written it.
After graduating from the Advanced Study Class of Shandong College, my creation once fell into a bottleneck and I haven't written a novel for nearly two years. During this period, I was very anxious. Later, I saw some creative writing articles on WeChat and felt that they benefited a lot, so I followed the map and bought some books on this. As a result, I saw it in. After reading it for a while, I wanted to practice it, so I opened the document of my collection concept and looked for suitable materials. In the end, I chose "White Horse and Silver Spear".
Different novel materials are suitable for different operating methods. Those novels that express emotions and are not suitable for using creative writing rules. The reason why "White Horse and Silver Gun" is suitable is because I knew from the beginning that it must be a novel constructed with story as the core. After confirming this, I started working according to the guided steps in the book - making a plot outline, setting suspense, arranging plot points, designing characters, designing scenes, and establishing themes... After starting to write, although I also found some new problems, such as a lot more than I expected, the overall writing was still relatively smooth.
This novel certainly has its problems, but after completion, it familiarized me with a new writing path. This path can ensure that I have the ability to write works when I am in a bad state. This is an important significance to me in this novel. Another meaning of this novel to me is the character Bai Yutang.
was interviewed and asked which one I like the most among all my novel characters. This question stumped me. If you look at it objectively, most of the characters in my novels have obvious weaknesses and are not very likable. Or it can be said that most of my novels are structured based on the weaknesses of the characters, and the story unfolds from this. If you like it, probably only Bai Yutang in "White Horse Silver Spear".
This is a Peking Opera martial artist with many classical virtues. The golden age of his life was in the late Republic of China and the early liberation. He looks heroic and handsome, is loyal to love, has a sense of responsibility to his family, and repays his grievances with kindness and has a tolerant and generous mind. This is a man I wishfully created, and it is the embodiment of the perfect man in my heart, a bit idealistic. When writing, I may have selfish intentions that I cannot perceive. Is there really such a man? I don't know either. I now treat him as a gift for myself.

Wonderful Introduction
In "White Horse Silver Gun", the theme of "betrayal and redemption" is interpreted, pick up the torn fragments of human nature, bridge the trauma, and save the soul. The link of the novel takes place in the "Cultural Revolution". In order to get the opportunity to play the protagonist, Peking Opera martial artist Bai Shengtang wrote a letter of complaint to the organization, betraying his master and father-in-law. In the chaotic times, human nature is defeated, and grievances take root, but the confession of the betrayer and the forgiveness of the victims have completed the journey of the soul washing, allowing people to see another way out of human nature outside the knot.
The stage image Zhao Yun, which has been repeatedly rehearsed by generations of people, is the value benchmark of human nature in the author's eyes. In the text, this ideal personality is placed on Bai Yutang, an older generation of Peking Opera man. He "looks heroic, handsome, loyal to love, has a sense of responsibility to his family, and repays his grievances with kindness, and has a tolerant and generous mind." Through the smoke and dust of time, this old man stands tall on the plateau of life like a tree that has experienced the wind, becoming a spiritual guide. In terms of narrative, the novel uses a Peking Opera outfit as a guide, slowly embarking on the journey of pursuing dusty past. The author's leisurely strokes trace back to the depth of history, revealing a kind of calm beauty. The novel style is classic and elegant, and the relationship between people and the persistence of Peking Opera artists in art are moving.

1
Lu Tong saw it in the smoking room in the Hong Kong International Airport waiting hall. Browsing antique collection web pages has become his professional habit for many years. Even after attending the five-day spring auction, he was so tired that he could fall asleep as soon as he closed his eyes, he could mechanically turn on his phone and glance at him. Its photo flashed in the lower right corner of an jade pendant page, and Lu Tong's heart was shocked and she immediately lost all sleepiness.
He couldn't wait to enter its page. There are only three photos. One is a full set of outfits, the other is a close-up of a flag, and the other is a horse whip and a shovel-headed silver spear. But enough. Since he had memories, his mother took it out of a large camphor wood box every year to dry it, and he was familiar with every detail of it. The seller's contact information is a WeChat account. Lu Tong quickly added it and then waited anxiously for confirmation. The moment he walked past the boarding gate, his phone finally rang, showing that his name was Lao Tong, and his area was Shenyang. Lu Tong let out a long sigh.
"I want the goods, I'll see the goods for trading tomorrow." After finding the seat, Lu Tong quickly sent a message. After waiting for a while, the other party sent an OK gesture. Then he turned off his cell phone and fastened his seat belt at the urge of the flight attendant. I looked out the window and it was clear after the rain, and my mood suddenly improved. He planned to tell his mother the news as soon as he arrived in Beijing.
After getting off the plane, Lu Tong called the secretary to book a high-speed rail ticket to Shenyang the next day, then went to the company to take a look, and met two antique dealers who had agreed to work until after nine o'clock in the evening before returning home. He made a pot of cooked Pu'er for himself, then poured it on the sofa, imagining his mother sitting next to him, clamping the hazelnuts the size of a fingernail with pliers, pushing the hazelnuts in front of him, staring at Shengdan and Jingmo Chou in the opera channel, and occasionally humming a few words... He called his mother. The expected effect was heard from the
earpiece. Song Yinzhen paused for a moment, and asked in a hesitant voice, "Did you... see it right?" It won't be wrong, mom. Then, he heard his mother sobbing softly after another silence. It can be heard that my mother wanted to restrain her emotions, but she failed.
In order to ensure there is no mistake, the next day, Lu Tong chose to take the subway to Beijing Station. He planned to go back to his hometown in Anshan immediately after he went to Shenyang to pick up the goods. He knew that his mother was more anxious than he did.
Beijing Station Square is still crowded, no different from when I first came to Beijing more than ten years ago. However, things change. The hair salon worker who stood here with fashionable hairstyles and novel eyes at the time has become a middle-aged businessman with a low-key flat head and a fat body.Lu Tong's eyes flew past the Chinese-style eaves of Beijing Station, and his heart was filled with complex emotions. That year, his daughter was born. In order to make up enough money to buy a new house, he secretly sold a Peking Opera set passed down by his mother's family for free, which made her very sad and seriously ill. It was during the half month he was accompanying his mother in the hospital that he decided to quit his job as a hair salon and come to Beijing with a customer who had asked him to take care of his hair for three years. He clearly remembered that this hand-embroidered martial arts outfit from the Republic of China sold for 20,000 yuan that year, but now the online price is 280,000 yuan.
found a seat in the waiting room and sat down. He took out his mobile phone to check. It was shaking constantly on the way to the station. After replying to several business messages, he suddenly found that there was another message from Lao Tong: I'm very sorry, the goods have already taken action, so there is no need to come. How is that possible? ! Lu Tong was anxious and sent a voice message: Haven’t it been agreed? I'm going to get on the train now. The other party seemed to have been waiting for him and immediately replied: Someone paid 300,000 yuan, and the goods had just been taken away. Sorry, brother! Too unspecified! Lu Tong wanted to curse her, but she held it back. The ticket check has already started, and he asked unwillingly, could he provide information about the buyer? The other party hesitated for a moment and replied that the buyer was a guest from Beijing.
2
According to the address left by Ms. Lin in the text message, Lu Tong found this place called "Jing Yutang" in Zizhuyuan Park without much trouble. In front of
is a quiet blue brick courtyard, surrounded by bamboo forests. A wooden sign hung on the left side of the red lacquer gate, which read in running script: Jingyutang Peking Opera Art Museum. Lu Tong's heart couldn't help but tighten. He felt that what he was about to face might be the most difficult type of collector - treating his personal hobbies as collectors of his career.
is not big. After passing the screen wall, I only entered the rectangular courtyard. Two workers were squatting on the ground laying the lawn, and there were a few camphor wood boxes piled up in the yard, which looked a little messy. Miss Lin greeted her and was a short-haired woman in her early forties. She led Lu Tong into a reception room in the east wing.
waited for about ten minutes, and a white-haired old man wearing a Tibetan Tang suit jacket and holding a cane appeared at the door. Lu Tong looked at the old man with a medium figure and very thin body. Although he was leaning on a crutch, his back was straight. Judging from his facial features, he should have had a handsome face with a straight nose and a square mouth when he was young, but his face is now dark. He stretched out his hand enthusiastically and shook Lu Tong, very strong. Miss Lin introduced to Lu Tong that this is Mr. Bai, the owner of the museum.
Lu Tong explained his purpose, and Mr. Bai immediately shook his head, "I won't sell it." So, can I see the goods and enjoy the eyes? Lu Tong didn't want to give up like this and looked at Mr. Bai earnestly. The clothes are under maintenance, and now we can only look at the whip and gun. Lu Tong was very disappointed and had to say, that's fine.
Mr. Bai brought Lu Tong to the main room. Obviously this is the museum exhibition hall that is being arranged. As soon as he entered the door, Lu Tong saw the silver spear stuck on the shelf, and the horse whip was hung on the wall behind. He walked closer a few steps and stopped his eyes on the shovel head. The silver paint has fallen off, there are several dents on the head of the shovel, and the longest one is sagging from the intersection of the two arc edges, about two centimeters. Yes. Lu Tong reached out and stroked it. This was the bump mark left by him when he was seven years old when his mother was not paying attention and swung it in his hand.
Generally speaking, the outfit and weapons are not placed in the same box. The costumes are costumes and props are props. But this outfit is very special, and a lattice is specially separated from the box to set off a gun and a horse whip. Mr. Bai's voice came from behind. Judging from the size of the gun's head, his master should be better at playing Zhao Yun.
is indeed an expert! Lu Tong turned around and looked at him, to be honest, this outfit is my family's ancestral artifact.
Mr. Bai looked at him steadily, what do you say... seriously?
I came here all the way, there is no need to lie to you. Lu Tong continued to say that this thing was originally used by my grandfather and later passed on to my mother. To our family, it means extraordinary. So, please give it to me.
Mr. Bai's eyes became strange. Mr. Lu has...forty-seven this year?
Immortal age forty-seven, I was born in 1968.
. He seemed a little disappointed. Your grandfather...is he a martial artist?
is exactly that when my grandfather was young, he studied under Zhang Shusen, the boss of the Beijing Jinheng class. Boss Zhang specializes in relying on martial arts. His specialty plays are just as Mr. Bai guessed, most of them are Zhao Yun's plays, such as "Changbanpo" and "Banhe Battle"...
asks you presumptuously. Mr. Bai interrupted him, is your grandfather Mr. Zhang’s eldest disciple Bai Yutang?
Do you know my grandfather? Lu Tong was extremely surprised.
Your mother...named Song... Yinzhen?
Yes! Lu Tong looked at Mr. Bai excitedly, and he realized that there was hope for him to get the outfit back. What do I have to call you?
I... Mr. Bai did not answer Lu Tong's question, but said, let's do this, I will write a letter to your mother. I want to give it back to her in person. You sit for a moment. After saying that, he supported his body with a crutch and staggered away from the exhibition room.
waited for a long time before Mr. Bai came back. He said to Lu Tong, "Tell the letter to your mother, and she understood it at a glance." I will definitely return the stuff to her, just hope to take this opportunity to meet her.
OK, I will definitely bring it to you! A new mystery surged in Lu Tong's heart, but it was much easier than when he was.
Before leaving the door, Mr. Bai asked again tentatively, Mr. Lu, do you... have an older brother? Lu Tong shook her head, no, I am the only child.

envelope is sealed with glue, it has not been dry yet, it is held in your hand, it is cool and soft. Lu Tong looked at the three words "Yinzhenqi" above and wanted to take a look immediately. He felt that there must be a secret that he never knew. Ms. Lin said on the phone that Mr. Bai was not in good health, and after returning to mainland China from the United States, he had been unadapted to Beijing's climate and had poor sleep, so the meeting time should not be too long. According to her meaning, Mr. Bai should have lived in the United States before, so why would he use the word "motherland mainland" in everything? So, what can an American have to do with his mother? As far as I can remember, except for my father and Lu Tong himself, the only man who my mother often talks about is her grandfather.
He couldn't wait to ask his mother for advice, so he broke a thin bamboo branch and carefully picked the envelope so that he could not see any flaws when it needed to be glued back on. Holding the envelope, he continued walking for a while, sat down on a bench deep in the bamboo forest, and pulled out the letter paper.
Yinzhen:
You are okay over the years?
I have been looking for you and want to express my guilt to you in person. I hope you can agree to meet me no matter what. Wait for your reply.
Shengtang

is so short! He has written for so long? The only word "sorry" in these lines is confusing. Also, is this name, Shengtang, Bai Shengtang? Does he have anything to do with his grandfather? Master and apprentice? Father and son? I have never heard from my grandfather and mother about these two things.
Only mothers can solve these doubts. He put the letter back, licked the dry glue on the envelope, and sealed it again.
After two o'clock, he guessed that his mother had already had a nap and called her cell phone. The ringtone of
rang for a long time before the mother's voice came. The background is very noisy, with the sound of Beijing Hu and drums in a ball, probably at home in Wangjiayu Village.
Mom, did you not take a nap?
Where can I have time to sleep? Rehearsal. Son, have you got off the train? There was a fork in
and I can't go back for the time being. Is there any problem with the
line header? Not ours, right? I just said, how could it be such a coincidence! This has been more than ten years.
is not what you think. Lu Tong wanted to explain to her further, and a woman's shout came from the receiver: "Director Song, come and take a look." Song Yinzhen said "ah" and said to her son, I'll talk about it after rehearsal. Hang up the phone.
Song Yinzhen's obsession with Peking Opera once made Lu Tong jealous. When he was a teenager, he promised his mother to go to the opera school to study opera because of this jealousy. However, that process was not beautiful. Although the opera school was newly established in the early 1980s, its faculty is very strong.Song Yinzhen handed Lu Tong over to an old martial artist who retired from the Shenyang Peking Opera Troupe. He acted as if he didn't have to be responsible for his death if he beat and scolded him. Lu Tong's terrifying student life began. The old Wushen was very strict. He mentioned Bai Yutang every time he taught, and then focused on repairing Lu Tong. While repairing, he warned him that he had to learn to show his appearance to other students and not to lose his grandfather's face. Lu Tong feels stressed every day and lives like a year. Then he found that even after learning opera, he still could not take back all his mother's love for Peking Opera, which made her even more picky about herself and looked like she was so angry that she was so angry. Grandpa is the yardstick in his mother's heart. He repeatedly takes it out to measure him, but no matter how hard he tries, he won't get any praise from his mother. Rebellion then quietly grew in his heart. He began to skip school. The conflict between mother and son broke out like this.
Lu Shigui originally ignored it, but later he couldn't stand it anymore. He told Song Yinzhen that his grandfather practiced boy skills after all. Xiaotong's group of children has been used to being casual since childhood and has not even recited books seriously for a few days. What's the use of forcing him? It is because of this that you have to work harder to practice. What should you do in the future? You can learn some other skills, you don’t have to sing an opera. Song Yinzhen was immediately annoyed, don’t get involved, why don’t the Bai family’s children do not perform? Lu Shigui threw the hammer in his hand to the ground, and he was repairing a stool leg. Song Yinzhen, I tell you, I am his father! Then he turned to Lu Tong, and if he didn't want to learn, he wouldn't learn. Why can't he make a living? Lu Tong has never seen her father be so tough to his mother. From childhood to adulthood, the whole family has been revolving around Song Yinzhen. My father is like a person without a mouth, always silently echoing all Song Yinzhen's wishes with his actions. In Lu Tong's consciousness, his father is like the shadow of his mother, which makes him completely ignore. All his actions only need to please or guard against his mother. But this time, my father unexpectedly stood on his side. In the end, he gave up his studies in the opera school and wandered around the society for four or five years. Until the spring of the year when he was seventeen, watching Yingchun bulge out of the branches, he finally got tired of the days without a goal in life and decided to go to Guangzhou to learn hair salon with a buddy. Without hesitation, Lu Shigui took out the 1,000 yuan he saved and took Song Yinzhen on the train. He refused to get off the bus in the sleeper carriage and earnestly reminded his son to gain a little ambition this time, learn a craft, and be willing to support himself. In recent years, he has endured Song Yinzhen's complaints and is anxious.
Lu Tong failed to learn a drama, which has always been a regret for Song Yinzhen's life. She made up for the continuation of homeschool in another way, almost to the level of paranoidness.
Song Yinzhen had no job when she was young, and it was undoubtedly a pity for a woman who had been to junior high school at her age. Song Yinzhen explained that her wish when she was young was to take care of her husband and children and live her life like her mother. But the facts are the opposite of what she said. After Lu Tong went to kindergarten, she worked as a temporary worker at the People's Theater, sweeping the floor, selling tickets, checking tickets, and doing everything. But according to Lu Tong's observation, what she enjoyed the most was watching the show for free. At first I just watched it, but later I developed into a comment on the drama, regardless of whether others like to listen or not. Once before the performance, she ran to the backstage, grabbed a martial artist, and told him that he had worn the wrong outfit. There is a saying in the Peking Opera Industry that "I would rather wear out than wear the wrong ones", which makes the other party very embarrassed. But it was this time that Song Yinzhen attracted the attention of Director Feng of the Municipal Peking Opera Troupe. After the two chatted, Director Feng realized that the theater cleaner turned out to be the daughter of Bai Yutang, a famous martial artist. He is from Shenyang, and his father is a Peking Opera fan. He has taken him to watch Bai Yutang's plays since he was a child. Bai Yutang's daughter fell into such a situation and felt pity. So she invited Song Yinzhen to the theater troupe to help him provide guidance in order to make legitimate financial support. In fact, the few dollars that month were all paid from Director Feng’s own salary. After a while, Song Yinzhen was finally able to work in the Peking Opera Troupe. After the end of the "Cultural Revolution", Song Yinzhen finally got a job and became a Peking Opera director under the pursuit of director Feng. During the process of directing the show, she gradually showed her preferences, especially her favorite and good at directing martial arts dramas. After working in the Peking Opera Troupe for more than 20 years, three martial artists won awards for starring in the dramas directed by her and were awarded first-class actors. In the 1990s, the situation of the Peking Opera Troupe began to be bleak, and fewer and fewer people watched the show. Finally, it could not continue to operate and was officially disbanded in 1997. Song Yinzhen was unemployed, and the word "laid off" at that time was called "laid off".
But after a few years of idleness, Song Yinzhen was invited by a folk drama club spontaneously established by a group of Peking Opera fans to be an art director. She happily accepted this voluntary job and devoted great enthusiasm to her for more than ten years. Of course, what she cares about the most is martial arts drama. In recent years, the theater club has received funding from a steel business owner and has become more and more prosperous. It is also invited to attend an art festival performance in Taiwan. Song Yinzhen's life became rich and busy. Lu Tong repeatedly asked to take her and her father to live in Beijing, but she refused. Last year, after Lu Shigui suddenly passed away due to a heart attack, the activities of the drama club became Song Yinzhen's entire spiritual sustenance. Lu Tong had no choice but to buy a farmyard for her mother in Wangjiayu Village at the foot of the Qianshan Mountains to fulfill her filial piety, hoping that the fresh air here would be beneficial to her health. And this place immediately became the main event venue for the theater club.
What puzzled Lu Tong was that Song Yinzhen had never learned opera herself. Since I like it so much, why didn’t my grandfather teach her? There are also female martial artists. Song Yinzhen's answer to this question is always vague. Sometimes she said that her grandmother didn't want her to learn, and sometimes she said that she would pass on men but not women. But in Lu Tong's memory, I never heard of my grandfather having an apprentice. Wait, now, a man named Bai Shengtang appears... Intuition tells Lu Tong that he must have an extraordinary relationship with his mother and grandfather. Lu Tong couldn't confirm how many answers Bai Shengtang could give, but it would definitely help him learn more about his mother. Although he had long been accustomed to his mother's character, as he grew older, he believed more and more that the mother he knew was just the part that his mother wanted him to know was the part of the iceberg floating on the sea. Just like what his daughter learned about Lu Tong, she is a father who is full of responsibility although she doesn't like to go home. And another part of his appearance was shown to the many lovers he had appeared one after another.
At around 8 o'clock in the evening, Song Yinzhen called.
When Bai Shengtang's name was spoken from Lu Tong's mouth, he heard a silence on the other side of the phone. He waited and wanted to capture something through the changes in his mother's breathing, but his mother seemed to have disappeared without saying a word. Mom, he finally couldn't help it. If you agree... I will go back to pick you up.
This person...I don't know. Song Yinzhen's voice finally came from the receiver. The sound was extremely clear and was shrouded in a deliberate calmness. The things are from our house and must be taken back.
This is Song Yinzhen's entire reaction to this letter. Lu Tong put down the phone and felt both surprised and disappointed. Things might be much more complicated than he thought. He knows his mother. In terms of personality, Song Yinzhen is a cheerful and generous person, completely opposite to her father. Lu Tong always felt that it was appropriate to adjust their gender. But he could still feel that his mother was not a transparent person, and there seemed to be a lot of things in her heart. These things existed before he was born, so the mother of his youth had an indescribable smell beyond beauty. Lu Tong didn't realize until she became an adult that this taste contained maturity, tolerance, and a little bit of unconcealed desolation. When I was in elementary school, my father was very busy with work and always worked on night shifts. He reviewed his homework at night. His mother was by his side and often fell into his own thoughts. When Lu Tong called her, she turned her head in panic and showed a strange smile. Lu Tong will never forget that smile, like a loving mask, because she was worn too hasty and had no time to cover her painful heart.
He felt that it was necessary to go to Mr. Bai’s place to learn more about the situation.
