This morning (August 10), staff from Gaoyou City Brave Foundation and Gaoyou City Public Security Bureau came to Gaoyou City Red Star Volunteer World Trade Service Station and delivered the confirmation letter of bravery for you and the bonus to the three volunteers Liu Xuan, Sun Shiyao and Zhan Yihua.
On July 20, Yangzhou published a report titled "Warm News| Someone fell in the rain, and two college students rushed over..." At around 3 pm that day, Liu Xuan and Sun Shiyao, a college student volunteers from Gaoyou Red Star Volunteer Association, were on duty at the Gaoyou World Trade Volunteer Service Station. At this time, the thunderstorm had just stopped and there was still light rain in the sky. Perhaps because of the slippery road on the rain, a young man who looked like a high school student fell near the station on an electric bike, and blood and rain mixed together on the muddy road. Liu Xuan and Sun Shiyao rushed into the rain to check the situation of the injured. Liu Xuan and volunteer Zhan Yihua (an enthusiastic citizen and a Red Star volunteer) helped him into the station and carried out a simple bandage, which initially proved that he did not hurt the bones; at the same time, Sun Siyao pushed his fallen vehicle to a nearby parking space to ensure the smooth flow of the road. The onlookers who passed by took a picture of this heartwarming scene and posted it on WeChat Moments, which then attracted attention.
In order to promote positive energy, Gaoyou Municipal Public Security Bureau immediately investigated and confirmed the three volunteers’ rescue deeds and completed all approval steps as quickly as possible. On August 10, according to relevant regulations on bravery, the actions of the three people were determined to be bravery.
