3. Kaohsiung Qiaotou Sugar Factory
Qiaotou Sugar Factory was founded during the Japanese reign in 1901 AD. It has a history of 100 years. It was originally named Qiaotou No. 1 Factory of Taiwan Sugar Manufacturing Co., Ltd., and is the first new-style sugar factory in Taiwan. It has nineteen historical sites such as Baroque tropical colonial style buildings and bronze statues of Guanyin. It is the largest preserved area of Taiwan's ancient monuments and one of the important factories for early sugar production in Taiwan. It is currently reappearing with the appearance of an art village.The entire park is very large and can be divided into four areas from south to north. 6. Yunlin Huwei Sugar Factory
When most sugar factories in Taiwan are transforming into cultural and creative parks, Huwei Sugar Factory is one of the few sugar factories that continue to produce. For example, the "Huwei Shiyi" which was once the small train station of Huwei Sugar Factory, was established in 1907. It was the most important transportation route of Huwei at that time.
