The State Council’s Joint Prevention and Control Mechanism held a press conference at 3 pm on June 28. Lei Zhenglong, deputy director of the Disease Control Bureau of the National Health Commission and first-level inspector, introduced at the meeting that compared with the eighth version of the prevention and control plan, the ninth version of the prevention and control plan mainly revises three major aspects:
First, optimize and adjust the isolation management period and method of risk personnel. has adjusted the isolation control time for close contacts and incoming personnel from "14-day centralized isolation + 7-day home health monitoring" to "7-day centralized isolation + 3-day home health monitoring", and the control measures for close contacts from "7-day centralized isolation" to "7-day home quarantine".
The second is to unify the standards for demarcation of seal (management) control areas and medium and high-risk areas. In the past, we had two types of risk area demarcation standards, one was the high, medium and low risk area demarcation standards, and the other was the lockdown, control, and prevention and control area demarcation standards. The ninth edition of the prevention and control plan connects the two types of risk area demarcation standards and prevention and control measures, and uniformly uses the concepts of high, medium and low risk areas to form a new risk area demarcation and control plan.
Third, it has improved the epidemic monitoring requirements. Encrypted risk occupational population nucleic acid testing frequency, adding antigen testing to primary medical and health institutions as a supplementary means of epidemic monitoring. At the same time, the plan clarifies regional nucleic acid testing strategies under different scenarios, and provides clear conditions for the initiation and termination of regional nucleic acid testing after the outbreak and corresponding nucleic acid testing strategies for provincial capital cities and cities with a population of tens of millions or above.
