htmlOn the morning of July 27, leaders of the Taiwan Affairs Office of Beijing, Xicheng District Government, Beijing Federation of Industry and Commerce and other units, as well as representatives of 12 representatives of Xicheng young entrepreneurs attended the event, and three Taiwanese youth working at Juntai Department Store and Beijing Yuehong Trading Co., Ltd. participated in the on-site exchange and discussion. The Taiwan venue invited more than 40 outstanding young representatives, young student representatives, and business guests to participate. The seminar was themed by "Urban Service Concept of Young Entrepreneurs under the Normalization of Epidemic Prevention and Control" . It invited 8 young entrepreneur representatives from both Beijing and Taiwan to conduct full communication and discussion on how to better play the role of enterprises in urban health, community residents' elderly care, and how time-honored enterprises can realize inheritance and development under the normalization of epidemic prevention and control, realize youth entrepreneurial dreams, etc., learn from each other, and make progress together.

In recent years, Xicheng District has maintained close ties with various fields of grassroots counties and cities in Taiwan, and the exchange between the two places has a good foundation. In 2020, Xicheng District and Kaohsiung City jointly held the Beijing-Taiwan Community Development Forum, and conducted in-depth online discussions on issues such as community development and volunteer services. In 2021, Xicheng District held the "Guangnei Cup" Diabola Invitational Competition, and exchanged skills with Taiwanese folk diabola enthusiasts through video links to jointly inherit the excellent traditional Chinese culture. Today, a new theme about young entrepreneurs participating in urban services was introduced. We hope to take this event as a new starting point to strengthen good interaction between enterprises and personnel in Beijing and Taiwan, strive to promote mutual benefit and win-win results, and promote exchanges in various fields between Beijing and Taiwan to a deeper level. Here, I sincerely welcome young friends from Taiwan to visit Xicheng as soon as possible, and strengthen exchanges, mutual learning and growth with mainland youth.

In his video speech, Mr. Yang Qiuxing, former Kaohsiung County Mayor, said that he had visited the mainland many times and made many good friends. I hope the epidemic will pass quickly and cross-strait relations will also be able to " pass the rain and clear the weather ". Compatriots on both sides of the Taiwan Strait will face each other as soon as possible, and I can also go to Xicheng District to meet my "old friend".
