Zhang Dongsheng, born in 1935, was born with a mental retardation. He had a short marriage, but the adopted child unfortunately died. In middle age, Zhang Dongsheng lost his labor force and lived a lonely life.
After learning about Zhang Dongsheng's situation, Tang Wenguo and his wife Yang Xinxiu discussed and offered to voluntarily support the elderly. "It is not easy to be an elderly person who is lonely and widowed. We can see it as neighbors. We can't bear to help, so I support my lover's idea," said Yang Xinxiu.
Zhang Dongsheng's wooden house has been disrepair for a long time and is in danger of collapse at any time. Considering safety issues, Tang Wenguo and his wife took Zhang Dongsheng home. After living for a while, Zhang Dongsheng couldn't bear to leave his "old nest" and insisted on moving back. Tang Wenguo and his wife used wood to reinforce Zhang Dongsheng's house. In order to help the old man repair the house, Tang Wenguo fell off the roof and injured his leg.
In fact, Tang Wen’s country is not well-off, and he only relies on a few acres of thin land to make a living, and his life is difficult.
"Tang Wenguo often goes out to the street to buy fresh lean meat to make soup for the elderly. The chicken, duck and eggs that the family is reluctant to eat are always given to Zhang Dong to eat raw." A villager said that Tang Wenguo delivered all three meals a day to the elderly and fed them bite by bite, and then he was relieved to go home to do farm work.
Zhang Dongsheng has poor stomach and often has incontinence. Tang Wenguo also washes the elderly's face, bathes, and laundry every day, cleans up the urination and defecation residues, and cleans Zhang Dongsheng's house.
In the summer of 2015, it was the season of busy farming and fighting for rice. Tang Wenguo and his wife were busy rushing to harvest rice. Suddenly, Zhang Dongsheng's common bile duct stone disease recurred and he curled up on the bed and kept moaning. After receiving a call from the villagers, Tang Wenguo immediately put down his farm work and rented a three-wheeled motorcycle to take the elderly to the county hospital more than 30 kilometers away for hospitalization. He took care of him meticulously for a month. He relied on his wife's thin body to harvest it.

Zhang Dongsheng, who is getting older, begins to become irritable, curse when he has any unpleasant things, and even smashes things when he is excited. Once, he had an attack and directly smashed a bowl of hot porridge on Tang Wenguo's head, causing Tang Wenguo's face to be severely burned and his head was also covered in blood.
Although there were grievances and sadness, Tang Wenguo still took care of Zhang Dongsheng as he treated his biological father as usual. "As a neighbor, I cannot ignore it. I want to support him in his old age and see him to die without any return." Tang Wenguo's words were simple but touching.
Tang Wenguo said that someone in the village once invited him to work out and promised to give him a high salary. "I was moved by myself, and I didn't go out in the end. If I went out to work, who would take care of the elderly?"
After the selfless care of Tang Wenguo and his wife, Zhang Dongsheng happily entered in his octogenarian . The children of this kind couple are also very filial to Zhang Dongsheng. Every year when Zhang Dong’s birthday is celebrated, the brother and sister will rush home from another place and express their willingness to do their best to let the elderly enjoy their old age.
