February 2, 2020, volunteers from Shenyang "Shengjing Volunteer" discovered that someone sold fake masks in Sifangtai Town, Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone. They immediately reported to the public security organs.
Through investigation, the police searched 1,475 masks in an ambulance with a Heilongjiang license plate on the side of the Sifangtai Town highway. February 28, the People's Court of Shenyang Economic and Technological Development Zone held a trial to hear the case. The suspect Wang Moumou was sentenced to eleven months in prison and a fine of 60,000 yuan for suspected sales of counterfeit and inferior products; the suspect Yang Moumou was sentenced to ten months in prison and a fine of 50,000 yuan for suspected sales of counterfeit and inferior products; the suspect Yang Mou, Jing Mou, Zhang Mou and Liu Moumou have been approved for suspected production and sales of counterfeit and inferior products, and the relevant cases are under further investigation.
