Canadian badminton team has been qualified for the first time to participate in the Touyu Cup finals!
Canadian badminton team defeated the United States in the Pan American Team Championship in February this year and finally qualified for the Thumb & Uk Cup finals. This Sunday, May 20, the 2018 Thumbs and Uk Cup will be launched in Bangkok, Thailand. This is also the first time that the Canadian team has entered the Thumbs and Uk Cup finals since 1978.

A total of 17 athletes from the Thumbs and Uk Cup Canada team participated in the competition, including 8 male athletes and 9 female athletes. "The Thumbs and Uk Cup are two important events of the BWF. It is an amazing achievement for Canada to qualify for the competition. Many top teams have participated, and our men's and girls' team competitions will be very difficult." The head coach of the Canadian team believes, "This is also an opportunity for our athletes to compete with the best players in the world.
