In recent years, the Party Committee, Government of Changshanzi Town and the village work team of the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Midong District have insisted on doing a good job in characteristic industries, guiding Shangliangtou Village to rely on Taoyuan to do a "peach article" and revitalize the "peach economy", and build a comprehensive picking base for peaches, strawberries, vegetables, and vegetables around "one village, one product", to help villagers increase their production and income.
"Everyone is good to shoot, just help Taoyuan to promote it." Early in the morning on April 26, Li Xiaolin, the head of Xiaolin Taoyuan, opened the doors around Taoyuan, and welcomed the guests waiting at the door.
The continuous Taoyuan flowers are in full bloom, and the peach blossoms are blooming on the branches, either deep red or light white, reflecting the blue sky and white clouds, strolling through the peach forest, the faint fragrance of flowers is refreshing. Many people picked up their cameras and mobile phones to record the beautiful scenery.
"There are four varieties of peach trees in Taoyuan, including peaches, peaches, nectarines, and blood peaches. The colors of the flowers are also different. The dark red ones are peaches, and the lighter ones are peaches..." Li Xiaolin popularized peach trees on the spot and told everyone what month to pick which peaches are the most suitable.
Li Xiaolin said: "In the past, I was afraid that others would step on the crops at will. Now, I am planting peach trees. Everyone is welcome to go in and see the peach blossoms. The more people I come, the happier I am."
In 2016, I took the lead in the prospects of characteristic agriculture. With the support of the Party Committee, Government and the "two committees" of Changshanzi Town, Li Xiaolin led the villagers to establish a cooperative, transferred more than 200 acres of land to plant peach trees, and built the largest and most varieties of Taoyuan picking base in Midong District.
With the help of the village work team of the Agriculture and Rural Bureau of Midong District, Li Xiaolin certified peaches organic products, and the town government helped Li Xiaolin apply for subsidy funds and interest subsidy loans, and repaired the roads near the base to ensure the water and electricity supply.
Starting last year, peaches entered the peak fruit period, attracting many citizens who come to pick them leisurely. Li Xiaolin, who tasted the sweetness, also began to build an agricultural and tourism integration base with the help of the village.
This year, the work team and the village "two committees" helped Li Xiaolin formulate a "peach blossom economy" agricultural and tourism integration plan, starting from promoting peach blossoms through WeChat Moments, Douyin, etc., increasing the popularity of Taoyuan and attracting tourists.
On one side of Taoyuan, the grape corridor full of small windmills has been laid out. "In addition to the two created last year, Taoyuan already has three grape corridors, which are not only a photo attraction, but also a place to enjoy the cool air and rest." Li Xiaolin said.
This year, Li Xiaolin also helped other members of the cooperative plant 40 acres of strawberries, 50 acres of sand onions next to Taoyuan, as well as broccoli, pepper and other fruits and vegetables for tourists to pick. He also planned to develop a buffet catering area and build a rural tourism base to drive more villagers to increase their income through the "peach economy".
