A few days ago, the 2022 Zhejiang Secondary Vocational School Vocational Ability Competition Student Technical Skills and Professional Qualifications (Innovation and Entrepreneurship) competition came to an end. The contestants in our city achieved another good results and won 7 golds, 3 silvers and 9 bronzes, among which they won first place in four events, ranking among the top in all counties (cities and districts).
It is reported that the Zhejiang Provincial Competition Student Technical Skills Competition has 40 events in accordance with the 2022 National Vocational College Skills Competition competition system. Ningbo City selected 81 teams and 163 contestants to participate in all events. A total of 4 secondary vocational schools in our city have 35 contestants participated in 16 events, including Cixi Vocational High School 4, Ningbo Xingzhi Vocational School 5, Cixi Technician College 5, and Jintang Vocational High School 4. In the end, he won 5 first prizes (4 of which are the first in the province, namely the electrical installation and maintenance project of Cixi Vocational High School, the e-commerce and hotel service projects of Ningbo Xingzhi Vocational School, and the welding technology project of Cixi Technician College), 3 second prizes and 7 third prizes. In the professional literacy innovation and entrepreneurship competition, we won 2 first prizes and 2 third prizes. The overall number of participants and awards won by our city’s secondary vocational schools in the above two events was the highest in recent years, fully demonstrating the achievements of our city’s secondary vocational schools in deepening teaching reform and innovating skills training models.

It is reported that after the Zhejiang Provincial Competition, the National Vocational College Skills Competition will start at various competition points across the country in August. Our city has obtained qualifying for 10 competitions, including Ningbo Xingzhi Vocational School and Cixi Technician College each winning 4 qualifications. Cixi Vocational High School and Jintang Vocational High School each have 1 qualification. We look forward to all contestants and instructors in our city working hard to create new glory in the national competition!
