Taipei County Public baths. The bathing site was built in the late 1920s and is located on a natural hot spring. The facilities here are second to none in Taiwan.
Duck farm on the lake. Duck raising is an important industry in Taiwan, especially in northern Taiwan. As long as there is water, every household will raise ducks.
Longshan Temple :Longshan Temple is the most famous ancient temple in Taipei. Built in 1738, it worships Guanyin Bodhisattva. The temple was rebuilt several times in the 19th and early 20th centuries due to earthquakes, storms and termite erosion. In 1945, the Allied bombing against the Japanese occupation forces caused the main hall to be completely destroyed, but only the statue of Guanyin Bodhisattva and the nearby people who took refuge in Guanyin statue were intact and were not injured.
Taiwan Governor's Office : This photo from the 1920s is taken from the Taiwan Governor's Office, which has a Military Bureau and a Civil Affairs Bureau. Construction of the building began in 1912 and completed in 1919.
Local residents are holding sacrificial activities.
