According to statistics, Suining County has set up 10 employment poverty alleviation workshops in 9 townships, and a total of 1,020 people have been employed at their doorsteps, of which 535 are poor. Poverty alleviation workshops have become an important carrier for local poor households to increase their income.
In September 2017, Suining County took the lead in implementing the labor broker system in Shaoyang to solve the problem of " last mile " in employment and poverty alleviation. The county hired 141 rural labor brokers for poor households and helped poor households find more than 3,500 new jobs. At the National Human Resources and Social Security Poverty Alleviation Typical Cases Seminar held in March this year, the labor broker system implemented by Suining County was rated as "Typical Cases of Targeted Poverty Alleviation in Human Resources and Social Security Field".
Labor brokers "make a bridge" to pave the way to get rid of poverty and increase income. Liao Xiaolin, a villager in Egongling Village, was one of the earliest labor brokers in Suining. After becoming a labor broker, she came to her homes to preach policies and contact employment positions, and introduced nearly 80 people to find employment.
At present, there are 26,137 poor laborers in the county, 21,972 have been employed, with an employment rate of 84.06%; 21,588 people have stable employment, with a stable employment rate of 98.25%.
The county fully plays the leading role of employment training, continuously carries out targeted poverty alleviation skills training, and promotes "poverty alleviation and intellectual assistance" and "blood transfusion and blood production" through "government payment, farmers' training", and implements the key people's livelihood practical matter of adding new employment. Since the beginning of this year, various functional departments of the county have held 10 training sessions of various skills and trained 356 poor laborers.
