In the eyes of outsiders, they are unsung heroes; in the eyes of family members, they are people who often don’t go home; and in the eyes of teammates, they are people who can give their lives to the other party... They have a common name - anti-drug police.
In the corridor of the Anti-Drug Brigade of Wuhua Branch of Kunming Public Security Bureau, Yunnan Province (hereinafter referred to as the Anti-Drug Brigade), there are countless Five-corner badges, and each badge is engraved with the police number of an anti-drug policeman. "Collective Second Class Merit", "Advanced Collective", "Advanced Unit"... The wall on the other side is also full of medals. Due to the particularity of their work, they cannot show their names and photos on the wall of honor like other police types... The fewer things they do, the better people know.

Since its establishment in 1984, this team has arrested nearly 15,000 illegal and criminals in various drug cases and more than 30,000 people have been forced to rehabilitate drugs. Over the years, many cases of drug confiscation of more than 100 kilograms were cracked. In 2021, 346.83 kilograms were paid, and 183.92 kilograms have been paid in 2022. Under the high pressure of maintaining a severe crackdown on drug violations and crimes, the jurisdiction has continuously maintained gratifying results of "zero drug production" and "zero cultivation".

engage in drug control work for 19 years, Huang Wenjun has extraordinary courage and rich experience. As the squadron leader, he must always keep his mind clear and logical.
In 2020, Huang Wenjun led his team members to the border to investigate a drug case. According to the clues they have, drug dealers may have driven by a certain place with drugs.
After mastering the clues, Huang Wenjun and his team members set up checkpoints at the intersection. After a round of waiting, a suspicious vehicle drove into everyone's sight. Not only did the car speed be fast, but there was no sign of stopping when it was about to reach the checkpoint.
"Stop him quickly." Huang Wenjun gave the order, and everyone cooperated to stop the car. Unexpectedly, the other party drove directly to the card. Huang Wenjun and a colleague jumped into a car, and the rest of the personnel drove to chase after him.
After the suspicious vehicle rushed through the checkpoint, it drove towards a very narrow mountain road. Huang Wenjun drove the vehicle tightly. The car ahead was driving very fast, with a speed of 70 or 80 yards. The mountain road could only accommodate one car. The curves were large and numerous, and the car chase scene was very thrilling. "I didn't think much about it at that time. If I let him run away, the efforts everyone made before would be in vain. We must catch up with him." Huang Wenjun said.
At that time, except for Huang Wenjun's car, the other cars did not follow. When MCA called Huang Wenjun and asked about the specific location, after the phone was connected, MCA only heard the other person gasping heavily and breathing rapidly: "Come along the path!" Then the phone hung up.
chasing for a while, when Huang Wenjun saw that the road ahead was about to end, he decisively took out his pistol and stuck his head out of the window. After two "bang" shots, the wheels in front of him exploded and the car stopped. Without giving the other party a chance to react, Huang Wenjun and his colleague immediately got out of the car and rushed up. The two people in the car seemed to be tired and motionless. Huang Wenjun and his colleagues escorted the two people out of the car and found a large number of drugs in the car.
After the arrest was successful, Huang Wenjun took his colleague's car down the mountain. After calming down, I realized that the mountain road I had just walked was not only narrow, but also a cliff next to it. He was scared and sweated in a cold sweat, and he was also grateful. "This time is the closest I have to die," he sighed.
Due to unremitting efforts, Wuhua Branch cracked the case with the largest number of drug dealers in Kunming since its founding, with 300 kilograms of drug dealers. If they didn't understand it carefully, who would know that they risked their lives to recover it.

Drug anti-drugs such as "lipping blood from the knife"
Dangerousness is unimaginable
Liu Jie is an investigator, and the shadows of other investigators can be seen from him. Liu Jie has dark skin. Because of work, he often wears casual clothes and walks in the crowd. He is absolutely impossible to tell that he is an anti-drug policeman.
After graduating from university, Liu Jie worked in the police station for 11 years. In 2009, he joined the anti-drug brigade and became an investigator. For 11 years, due to work needs, Liu Jie and his colleagues have been running on the border for many years. He had a carry-on bag with a toothbrush, mouth tank, towel and a set of clothes, because he had to set off at any time, and even when he went home, the items in the bag would not be taken out. He said that anti-drug police would have such a bag.
Speaking of drug control work, Liu Jie said that many drug dealers are extremely cunning, even outlaws, and there are variables in every case. Drug control work is like "lipping blood from a knife", which is unimaginable to ordinary people. Once, during work, there were only 2 clues obtained by the investigator, but when they rushed into the room, they found that there were 5 people on the other side. At this time, they did not retreat, but faced the drug dealers, controlled the situation in time, and finally arrested them. When blocking the card and checking, drug dealers driving and escaping was the thing that Liu Jie and his teammates were most reluctant to encounter, but such things also happen from time to time, and the pursuit scene was like a blockbuster movie. Once, in order to avoid inspection, the drug dealer stepped on the accelerator and rushed to the blockage when he saw the blockage. Liu Jie and his colleague jumped into the police car and followed. "We will try our best to control the speed. If the speed is too fast, the car will float, which is very dangerous. We must also prevent drug dealers from injuring passers-by. Other colleagues cooperated to intercept from the front." Liu Jie said.

anti-drug work not only needs to compete with criminals for intelligence and physical strength, but also needs to be thoroughly considered. Once you miss a good opportunity, it will lead to passive work.
In 2017, Liu Jie went to Pu'er to handle a drug trafficking case. Based on clues and analysis, everyone divided into two groups to intercept criminals.
Liu Jie and three other colleagues walked through the road to block the traffic. When the vehicle drove to an intersection, they saw two men suspected, one of them carrying a sack. Based on years of experience, Liu Jie analyzed the two of them's clothes and expressions that drugs may be contained in the sack.
When Liu Jie held the car door and was about to get off the car, they saw the two of them getting into a car parked on the side of the road. The car drove away, and Liu Jie also chased after him.
After chasing for a while, the car in front stopped, and a short man walked out of the driver's seat. Liu Jie's two colleagues rushed up and pressed the man. The man who walked off the passenger seat was tall and burly. When Liu Jie and another team member rushed up to control him, they were fiercely resisted by the man and tried to steal a team member's gun. The two wrestled together.
"If the gun is snatched away by him, the consequences will be unimaginable." Liu Jie's mind flashed with such a thought. He quickly hugged the man's waist from behind with both hands, but the man was too strong and could not subdue for a while.
"What I fear most is that the gunshot wounded my teammates." During the robbery, with a "bang", the gunshots were fired, and Liu Jie and his teammates all lowered their heads to look at themselves. "At that time, everyone was thinking about whether there were holes on their bodies (gun holes). When they looked down, they saw that there were no holes and they were still alive." Liu Jie said.
After seeing the gun being ineffective, the man pulled out a knife from his waist. Seeing this, Liu Jie shouted, "He has plucked the knife!" After that, he pressed the man to the ground with force, and then the other colleagues who rushed over subdued the two criminals.
When the two men were brought back to the interrogation, the burly man passed by the knife and wanted to break free and get the knife, but fortunately he was controlled in time. "There is a kind of poisonous snake. After its head is cut off, it is still struggling and can bite people. I feel that this criminal is like this poisonous snake." Liu Jie said.

They
Witness the destruction of countless families
As anti-drug police officers, they saw drug dealers who were "not afraid of death" during arrest, and during interrogation, they saw drug dealers' regret and inner fragility, and also witnessed the destruction of countless families.
Liu Jie said that drugs are profitable, and many people with difficulties in life choose to take risks, but they will only remember that they have family members when they are arrested, and they regret not being the first.
At the beginning of drug trafficking, some people had a very simple idea and did not realize the seriousness of the matter. Therefore, when the interrogation police talk about the harm of drug trafficking from a legal perspective, the parties involved often collapse and cry.
Some people have a bad idea when they failed because of their business and wanted to make a comeback: "Borrow money to buy drugs from the border, and double the price when transported to the country, and make a lot of money." When they were caught, their dream of getting rich was shattered.
A few years ago, A Fang (pseudonym), a woman on the border, brought drugs from abroad to the country. Afang's family has a very difficult financial situation. The house was mortgaged to a drug lord abroad. Her father and brother died early, and her husband left the house, leaving only her mother and two children.
After the drug transaction, Afang was arrested. During the interrogation, she asked Liu Jie: "I want to call my mother." After knowing that her daughter was arrested for drug trafficking, she screamed from the other end of the phone. Although life is poor, the family could have lived a stable life, but now it has ruined a family because of Afang's temporary greed.
Liu Jie said that this scene was the last thing he wanted to see. As a front-line anti-drug police officer, he hoped that everyone would not touch the legal red line of drugs.

because of trust
They handed their backs to their comrades
Among the 6 investigators, MCA is 41 years old and the youngest. Nine years ago, he changed from a special police officer to a drug policeman, and his work content and lifestyle changed accordingly.
When serving as a special police officer, he wore body armor , wore sunglasses, and held a sniper rifle. He was quick and accurate when going on a mission. Everything has changed when doing drug control work. You don’t have to wear uniforms all year round. You often go to the border or outside the province to handle cases. You may not have any protection when arresting, drive quickly, and play many roles.
When he first arrived at the brigade, Liu Jie became Ma Hua’s master. Liu Jie will pass on his experience to Ma Hua in detail how to communicate with his teammates with his eyes, how to wear makeup to investigate, how to sort out cases, arrest and interrogation.
In the process of catching drug dealers, the tacit understanding between Ma Hua and his master and even his comrades around him was rapidly increasing. During the case handling process, even speaking may reveal their identity. Everyone must have a high understanding of who should do what, what to do next... They need to complete the communication with their eyes or a tiny move.
In addition to having a tacit understanding, they must also fully trust their comrades. A few years ago, the anti-drug brigade obtained clues that someone would conduct drug deals at the border. During the early investigation, it was learned that two drug dealers would conduct on-site transactions. The seven investigators made sufficient preparations and were very confident. "At that time, we thought, 7 people caught 2 people, and there was enough manpower," said Ma Hua.
The arrest site was in a farmers' market less than one kilometer away from abroad. Seven investigators were ambushed here early, waiting for the transaction to begin. After a long time, a man and a woman met and started trading. The best time for arrest came, and several team members rushed forward.
But at this moment, a foreign man next to him suddenly pulled out a pistol from his body and pointed it at Ma Hua and several other comrades who were being arrested. Suddenly, the foreign man was thrown to the ground and the bullet was shot before he could even be shot. The person who knocked the man down was MCA's teammate, and he was responsible for the guards in the dark for this mission.
"If my teammate had not discovered this drug dealer in advance and responded quickly to defeat the enemy with one move, the consequences would be unimaginable." Ma Hua said that in the anti-drug battlefield, all investigators were friends of life and death, and they entrusted their lives to the other party. As the squadron leader, Huang Wenjun has more responsibilities than Ma Hua. Every time a mission is made, the captain’s responsibility is not only to lead the team members to complete the mission, but also to bring these brothers home safely.
"No drug control can be completed by one person. The credit for drug control belongs to the entire team." Huang Wenjun, Liu Jie, and Ma Hua all think so.
