Let’s talk about
I used to really like writing travel notes, but later I stopped being so anxious about writing and ended up dying. In order to leave a complete travel note for myself, I’d better be diligent!
Talk about this trip
started planning Bali trip half a year in advance. This time I went with my young couple. I found that it is more interesting to travel with friends than just two people! I am a loyal fan of Qunar. I booked my flight tickets from Qunar, booked the hotel from Agoda, and rented GoPro/airport transfer/Nusa Nusa Penida/Tulamben deep diving/Ayung River rafting from Taobao, which is free in Bali. No need to apply for a visa, no time difference. This is a useful travelogue, read carefully!
The rainy season in Bali is from October to March every year. We went there during the Qingming Festival, catching up with the end of the rainy season. However, it does not rain during the day, but it may rain a little at night. Regarding transportation in Bali, traffic jams are common along the way, so we all rented motorcycles to travel. You can rent a car with your domestic driving license or get a translation from the software. In Bali, we did not encounter traffic police checking cars. Compared with Thailand, there are too many motorcycles, and they can’t check them~

Shopping
Remember: I have compared Bangkok , Phuket , Siem Reap, Hong Kong, Kuala Lumpur, Among the duty-free shops in Bali, only domestic duty-free shops are the cheapest. You can only buy cosmetics in domestic duty-free shops. Don’t question this!
Clothes and shoes are Malaysia There is an outlet near the Kuala Lumpur T2 Airport which is also very cheap (you can apply for a 120-hour transit visa in Kuala Lumpur).
The duty-free shops in Bali are currently the most expensive ~ Bali is not a place for shopping. If you have necessities, you have to buy them in advance. We looked around on the first day and found that many things were not for sale.
Facial sunscreen: I bought Thai Snail’s 50 times facial sunscreen in Bali for about 150 yuan. It is very useful. I have used it before.
Body sunscreen: The American Banana Boat banana boat has 50 times the body sunscreen. The two of them haven’t used up 90ml in the past few days. (The higher the sun protection factor, the oilier it is. Banana Boat’s is much easier to use than Water Baby’s!) In addition to the sun protection factor, you also need to look at the + sign. The more + signs, the better. In addition, Banana Boat’s aloe vera gel is a must-buy! I have been using it for several years, and it can be used even if I have bumps or flaky lips.
Day 1 April 3
Sulis Beach Hotel and Spa
April 3rd 2:15-8:30 Beijing - Kuala Lumpur
10:50-13:55 Kuala Lumpur - Bali
The airport pick-up booked through Taobao, our hotel is very close to the airport, costs 40 yuan per car. Arrive at the hotel at about 3 o'clock, take a rest, rent two motorcycles at the hotel front desk, and go out for a stroll in the evening~ I have to say that the food in this hotel is particularly delicious and exquisite. It is the best restaurant we have ever eaten in. . The top floor is an open-air swimming pool, where you can watch the sunset with a particularly good view.

The next day, April 4th
Candlelight at Jimbaran Beachbbq
After breakfast at the hotel in the morning, ride a motorcycle to Jin. Buy seafood at Balan Seafood Market. It takes 20-30 minutes to ride there from our hotel. There are several barbecue restaurants next to the market, and the processing fee is 20k Indonesian rupiah (10 yuan) per kilogram. The seafood there is also cheap, but unfortunately it may not be live, so be careful when choosing! Address Google Map search: Jimbaran pasar Ikan kedonganan.

Jimbaran Seafood Market

Jimbaran Seafood Market

Jimbaran Beach
The four of us had a seafood barbecue for lunch, totaling 490 yuan. It was so beautiful that we didn’t even finish it in the end, haha! Two lobsters are about 525k (262 yuan), three large bread crabs are 190k (95 yuan), 12 green-skinned prawns are 120k (60 yuan), the processing fee is 80k (40 yuan), and the drink coconut milk is 60k (30 yuan). It's a pity that they only do barbecue for seafood. It would be better if they can do egg yolk curry crab.
We had two meals in total, and the one made by the first restaurant was delicious. The sauce tasted good, and it was even more delicious when baked! This store is located in this row of the market, as shown in the picture:

This store’s grilled food is delicious! I feel more at ease when picking up seafood in person.

The grilled food in this store is delicious.

Mangosteen . I have eaten enough durian.
Please mark the key points on the blackboard!
We found a shop selling fruits very cheaply, just on the left side of the road when we exited Jimbaran BBQ Street. We bought fruits from three stores in Kuta. We were scammed by two of them before. The denomination of the Indonesian rupiah was too high and we couldn't wrap our heads around it. The store didn't even look for it after we gave it too much money. We didn't realize it until we got back... The owner of this store is very honest. Mangosteen is 15k per kilogram (7.5 yuan/kg), small durian is 35k per kilogram (17.5 yuan), and rambutan is 15k-18k. Later, the cheapest mangosteen I bought in Ubud was 15k/kg, and durian was 40k each, but the durian was not as delicious as the one I bought in Jimbaran.

Purple-skinned avocados are much more delicious than those eaten in the country!
Uluwatu Cliff
Set off to Lovers Cliff in the afternoon and ride a motorcycle for about 1 hour. There was a traffic jam on the way back. Tour buses and private cars were blocked at intervals. We had to ride on the curb to get through. This shows the necessity of riding a motorcycle!
There are monkeys in Lover's Cliff that will snatch things, so be careful! We all hid and walked. Monkeys had snatched my glasses away from me at Angkor Wat before, so I was more afraid of them. This time I saw a monkey snatching a tourist's sunglasses on the cliff. If a monkey robs something, you can throw it something else, such as food or drink. If you can't hold it with your hands, you will throw away your glasses.
We just took some photos at Lover's Cliff. There were a lot of clouds and we probably couldn't see the sunset, so we headed back at dawn.
Take a dip in the swimming pool on the rooftop of the hotel in the evening~eat mangosteens, rambutans, durians, and avocados~

The third day, April 5th
Nusa Penida Three Internet celebrities checked in
and hit the blackboard to highlight the key points!
Taobao has many one-day tours to Penida Island, or one-day tours to Nusa Lembongan + Penida, but they are all group tours. We booked a round-trip ferry ticket from Bali to Penida and a chartered car from Penida. We had the final say on the entire trip and could control the time freely. The cost was 310 yuan per person. The point is that we can go down to Elf Beach where Elf Falls, but not with a group tour. Penida is divided into the east route and the west route. On the west route we went, there are three internet celebrity check-in spots: angel's billabong, broken beach, and kelingking.
The itinerary is that the boat leaves at 7:30 in the morning and returns at 16:30 in the afternoon. You need to take off your shoes to get on and off the boat, and walk from the shore to the sea to the boat. If you wear a skirt, remember to wear leggings ~ Penida is an outlying island in Bali. The roads are not easy to walk, and some of the roads to the scenic spots are dirt roads, so be mentally prepared!

The way to the beach from Nusa Penida

1 Angel's Billabong
As soon as we get off the boat, the driver on the island will take us away. The driver first took us to an unknown attraction. There was not much to see. Then he left after a while and went to the next attraction - Tenjin Bathhouse.
I want to emphasize here that if you want to go to Elf Beach, you must leave enough time in front! Be sure to leave enough time! Be sure to leave enough time! We didn't communicate well with the driver, otherwise there would be no need to go to the first point and we would go directly to the Tenjin Bath.
The waves around Tenjin Bath are very big, so taking photos depends on taking snapshots!

2 Broken beach
Tianshen Bathhouse is just along the road to the Broken Beach. The two internet celebrity check-in places are next to each other. This place is worth a visit. Many foreigners come here to take pictures. They sit on the edge of the cliff and take pictures. They are so brave! There were also people wearing bikinis and posing for various photos. We were also infected so we dared to sit on the cliff and take photos. The water in the crack is very blue and quite beautiful!
After returning to the car from the crack ring, it suddenly started raining heavily while walking. Fortunately, I brought an umbrella! Come out of the rift and go to eat near the cliff where the elves fell.

Wow~

I admire

Sitting on the edge of the cliff and taking pictures is really the limit

3 Fairy Falls off the Cliffkelingking
Fairy Falls off the Cliff I think it is a must-visit place when traveling to Bali. It is beautiful. Although it is cloudy, the sea It's blue, translucent blue, the kind of blue in "Descendants of the Sun", so mesmerizing...

The highlight of the entire trip is the elf falling off the cliff. We went down the mountain along the plank road and wanted to walk to the beach under the cliff, but we were told that we didn't have enough time and could only walk halfway. There were not many people walking down the mountain, even fewer people walking halfway, and very few actually reached the beach.
The road down to the beach is not easy to walk, and it is even harder to walk after it rains. A girl cried halfway up...so that our legs were sore the next day, but everything was worth it. of.
Not being able to go to Elf Beach is the biggest regret of this trip to Bali! As we walked down, the foreigners we passed were climbing up like rock climbers with grains of sand on their bodies, their eyes full of envy! I have the physical strength and perseverance to go to the end, but I am defeated by time. We will see you again in the Elf Garden.
Food Guide - Evening
Go back to the Sulis Hotel for a big meal in the evening and cheers to Penida today! Four portions of grilled pork chops one large pizza, juice and beer. When the pork chops were served, we were shocked. It was so big. We also said, can you eat such a big pork chop for 35 yuan? We talked and laughed about the meal for a long time, but in the end I couldn’t eat it at all, it was too much!
The waiter on the side came over and struck up a conversation with us, asking us where we were from, how long it took us to fly over, and how many days we had been here... Later, he came over and asked when the ice cream would be served. It’s strange. We didn’t order ice cream. Why should we give ice cream? Later I saw the menu and found out that what I ordered was the large grilled pork chop set meal in the picture for 130k (75 yuan). I thought I was ordering the small pork chop rice set for 70k (35 yuan). The large grilled pork chop set meal included one serving. A big pork chop, a salad, a side of fries, a grilled ice cream.
Although I clicked wrongly, it’s so worth it! Much better than what we ate in Ubud later! It feels that the waiters are surprised to order so many meals, and ask where the four hungry guys came from, hahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahahah
pizza+roast pork chop package is particularly delicious! Tender and flavourful
The grilled pork chop + salad
is much better than what I had at the old restaurant in Ubud!

Day 4, April 6th
Tulamben World War II shipwreck deep dive
Pick us up at 8 o'clock in the morning. It takes about 3 hours from Kuta area to Tulamben .
hits the blackboard to highlight the key points! Just remember to order the English version. I ordered two in English and two in Chinese. In fact, there is a translator in Chinese. It tells you in Chinese: up, down, stop, and there is a problem. These four gestures; if the mask gets wet What to do if there is water in the mouthpiece. Moreover, there are eight people training together, and it is enough for one of them to subscribe in Chinese, but it is completely unnecessary.
The Chinese and English instructors are the same. They are taken into the water in groups of two. I took the rented GoPro 7 and went into the water together. The instructor will also help you take pictures when you get underwater.
Tulamben Diving Site
Tulamben Diving Site
On the way to Tulamben
I dived twice in total. The first time I was quite nervous, mainly because my ears were easily uncomfortable during the dive, and I was worried about the mouthpiece biting it. Not tight. It's like holding the instructor with one hand, adjusting the ear pressure with the other hand, and pressing the breathing tube. In fact, it's easy to get lost underwater, with no sense of direction and limited sight, so I didn't dare to let go of the instructor for the first time. The second time I got into the water, I started playing, it was great!
Precautions
Don’t be nervous during the whole process of entering the water. As long as you bite the mouthpiece of the breathing tube tightly, there will be no problem. One of our companions was so nervous that he choked on the water while carrying equipment and did not dare to go into the water again.
The World War II sunken ship in Tulamben is more than ten meters underwater. It is much easier to dive from the shore than to jump from the ship. After diving, always adjust the ear pressure balance to avoid ear pain caused by diving.
In addition to outdoor showers, you can also take showers in the bathroom, all with cold water. Bring your own towels, shampoo, and body soap.
For myopia, prescription masks will be provided, so don’t wear contact lenses in the water! Don’t wear earplugs in the water! When booking the itinerary, ask if a disposable mouthpiece is included. If not, buy it on Taobao in advance. It will only cost thirty or forty yuan if you buy it locally.
Day 5, April 7th
Change hotel
On this day, we will change from Kuta Desulis Hotel to Beji Hubade Hotel in Ubud area. I booked Ayung River rafting (in Ubud area) for this morning from Taobao one day in advance, so I changed hotels on the way and saved a lot of taxi fare. After the rafting, I was dripping with water. The rafting shop has a shower and change of clothes. place.
Rafting on the Ayung River
We were waiting at the front desk of the hotel at eight o'clock in the morning. It happened that there were four of us in a car and we set off to the Ayung River with our luggage.
I booked this hotel from the source of Ayong River. I need to walk through a section of rice fields. It takes about 20 minutes to walk from the mountain to the river. The scenery along the way is particularly beautiful. Rafting is a kayak for six people, followed by a coach. The whole process is very fun and exciting! There are virgin rain forests and waterfalls on both sides. Occasionally, you will have water fights with other groups. Foreigners have fun, hahaha.
After reaching the end, you still need to walk up the mountain for about 20 minutes. There will be a resort hotel on the mountainside. The jungle is so beautiful.
Beji Ubud Resort
We had a buffet lunch at the drifting shop at around noon, and then the driver took us to the new hotel. The urban area of Ubud is not big, so you can get there quickly. Checked in at the front desk and booked two motorcycles. This is a resort on the mountainside with a first-class environment. It is very suitable for staying in a hotel ~

I ate at this Ubud grilled pork chop at around 5pm, which is a few minutes away from the hotel. An old grilled pork chop restaurant recommended by Dianping.com. A grilled pork chop costs 130k, which is not recommended. The grilled pork chop is not tasty and the meat is old. It is not as delicious as the one at Sulis Hotel in Kuta.
In the evening
I rode a motorcycle for about 9 minutes after dinner. On the way to the Dirty Duck Restaurant (Ubud Main Branch), I passed through a rice field. It was so beautiful~ clap, clap, clap!

Day 6, April 8
Shopping strategy - morning shopping
After breakfast in the morning, ride a motorcycle to the market to buy things. First, we went to the Ubud Traditional Market near the Ubud Palace. The price was too expensive, so we went to the real Ubud Market, which is more than 20 minutes away from the Ubud Palace. When I arrived, I saw too many buses, all purchased by Chinese tourists! The asking price is also high. A straw bag that can hold a mobile phone costs 120K. The first one cost 90K (45 yuan), and the second one cost 65K (32.5 yuan). The local floral trousers are made of thin and comfortable materials. They are priced at 120K (60 yuan) for three pieces... At this price, if this one doesn't work, just try another one ~
I can't use Google Maps after I return to China, so I can't provide the specific location. , which can be found locally.
Ubud Market
Ubud Market
The floral pants I bought from this store are the same as
. The first one cost 90K and the second one cost 65K
Don’t buy fruits from Ubud market! There is a local market 3 minutes by bike from Ubud Market, which mainly sells vegetables, fruits and ingredients. Mangosteen is still 15K/kg (7.5 yuan/kg), and durian is 40K each (20 yuan). I also bought a fruit that looks like longan on the outside and has petals inside, also priced at 15K/kg. Mangoes are also 15K/kg...
After returning to China, Google Maps cannot be used and the specific address cannot be provided. But when you come out of Ubud Market, turn left, then turn right, and walk forward along this road, on the right. We passed by here when we came from Ubud Palace and discovered it accidentally.

It rained, so I missed it Tegalalang Rice Terraces
Return in the afternoon We stayed at the hotel and wanted to take a rest before going to Tegalalang Rice Terraces. Unexpectedly, it started raining as soon as we arrived at the hotel and continued until the evening. We had dinner at the hotel in the evening, went back to pack our luggage, and flew back the next day.
Day 7, April 9th
Bali to Kuala Lumpur - a roundabout road
April 9, 13:35-16:35 Bali - Kuala Lumpur
18:40-01:05 Kuala Lumpur - Beijing
Taobao ordered airport drop-off, 9 am From the hotel, it takes more than an hour to reach Ngurah Rai Airport.Although I arrived early, I wanted to go through the security check early, but I got stuck at the departure gate of Bali Airport . The system failed and I had to wait for more than three hours. It took off at around 3pm and landed in Kuala Lumpur at 7pm.
I couldn’t catch up with the second leg of my trip, so I went through the follow-up procedures at the Kuala Lumpur transit hall and changed my flight back to Beijing on the same flight the next day. AirAsia provided free meals and accommodation. Things have taken a turn for the worse. Although I have been to Kuala Lumpur Airport a few times, I have never stopped there. I can take this opportunity to spend a day in Kuala Lumpur!

Tune Hotel - Kuala Lumpur
The tune hotel arranged by AirAsia is near the T2 airport, which is very convenient. Fortunately, we carried ringgit with us. After changing the tickets, we applied for transit visa at the Kuala Lumpur exit office. After everything was done, we ate at Burger King and Liang Quan Qi Mei in the airport.

Kuala Lumpur transit visa
This time I researched the transit visa. When I came to Malaysia before, I heard that the transit visa can only stay in West Malaysia html for 35 days and cannot go to East Malaysia. Sabah is one of the thirteen states in Malaysia, located in East Malaysia, so I applied for a separate visa when I went to Semporn. This time I took a closer look at the transit visa, and it clearly stated that I could stay in Peninsular Malaysia and Sabah. That is to say, if you have a ticket from a third country to prove your transit through Malaysia, you can use a transit visa to go to Sabah (including Kota Kinabalu / Tawau ).

Day 8, April 10
Isetan Food Market ( Petronas Towers )
After breakfast at the hotel, we took the intercity bus to the Petronas Towers. On the way, we met a kind-hearted AirAsia stewardess who spoke Mandarin to give us directions. ! It takes more than an hour to get to the Twin Towers from Terminal 2. Take the bus and take the subway, and you will see the Twin Towers when you come out.

Xinfeng Bak Kut Teh
Grab from the Petronas Towers to Xinfeng Bak Kut Teh, 6 MYR. Xinfeng Bak Kut Teh tastes quite Hong Kong style, and the soup tastes acceptable. After all, it is made from medicinal herbs. If it’s good, just drink it. You can also refill the soup for free. The braised pig's feet are great, and the ice cream is also good!
The local dishes are pretty good
A big portion of Bak Kut Teh, and the braised pig's feet are especially delicious! The ice cream is also good. I ordered one mango and one durian.

Grab MYR8 from Sun Peak Bak Kut Teh to Petaling Street, which is Chinatown. In fact, there is nothing to go around, it is just like the domestic small commodity market ~ walk from the street to the end, grab a grab back to the tune hotel, the journey costs 80 MYR for an hour.
