TSMC CEO Wei Zhejia said at the company's online annual meeting that the company has developed a 5-nanometer chip manufacturing technology, which has been licensed for use in cars to support tasks such as AI, but products with this technology are unlikely. Alleviating the current shortage of automotive chips, because what is currently lacking are chips with relatively backward technology.
