This is Huichang located in Ganzhou. It is located in the southeast of Jiangxi Province, at the western foot of the Wuyi Mountains, at the northern end of the Nanling Mountains, and at the junction of the three provinces of Fujian, Guangdong and Jiangxi. The landform is dominated by low mountains and hills, with the terrain being high around and low in the middle, with a slightly palm-shaped slope from southeast to northwest. There are many rivers. The Xiangjiang River from the south and the Mianjiang River from the east merge into Gongjiang and flow directly into Ganjiang .
First stop: Hanxian Rock

The first thing I encountered when I got there was the flat, wide square with beautiful scenery. There is a large statue in the square that is very eye-catching. If you raise your head slightly, you can see the Hanxianyan Danxia landform.
Entering from the main entrance, you realize that you are deep in the canyon. The morning sunlight shines mottledly on you through the dense leaves, making you feel warm and comfortable, away from the city and embracing nature. The Eight Immortals all stand, sit, raise their hands, or look up to welcome our friends who have come from afar. At your feet is a cloud-like carp pond, which seems to have absorbed the spiritual energy of the world and opened up your spiritual wisdom. Whenever someone passes by, they will follow you, and people will line up to follow you.
The woods are deep and the mountain roads are winding. There are two main routes to visit the Hanxian Rock Scenic Spot. One is the large loop route, which takes about 2-3 hours to cover all the scenery; the other is the small loop route, which takes about 1 hour and allows you to appreciate the essence of Hanxian Rock. You can choose according to your own physical strength and time.
Go up higher, skip the Sword Testing Stone, pass through Gassho Gate, and at Sankong Resort, you will see the uncanny craftsmanship of nature like a human face, towering ancient trees, strange mountains and rocks, Han Xianyan completely retains the original Natural features. No wonder Bishuixian Mountain is known as the "No. 1 Mountain in Qiannan", and it deserves its name.
Moving on, we saw a lot of cliff carvings here at Tianzi Wannian. 11 places have been rated as provincial-level cultural relics protection units, and Wen Tianxiang, the national hero of the Song Dynasty, also left his lament here.
Kites Fanning and Xianren Cave are the places that left the deepest impression on me. They are also adventure experiences I have never had on other mountains. Here you need to use both hands and feet to climb. The stairs are narrow and vary in height. Most of them are purely natural stairs without artificial carvings. Therefore, Chengzi didn’t have extra hands to take pictures, so he didn’t leave any photos.
The most exciting part of this trip is here. This is where Han Zhongli achieved enlightenment, called "Immortal Yile". Nowadays, the immortal has become a legend. I have no chance to see him, but I met the 85-year-old grandfather. He has been here for 25 years and provides everyone with free tea. Orange is also soaked in the immortal spirit here and drinks the old man’s mountain spring water. After drinking this tea, take a rest, not to mention, after drinking this tea, your whole body will exude relaxation and joy from the inside out. After a short rest we started our return journey. On the way back, there was a "line of sky" that was particularly impressive. I won't go into details and just took the picture. I really like the light and shadow here.
Return to the foot of the mountain from Xianren Yile, and drive to the second stop in Huichang: Yangjiao Water Castle
This is a typical traditional Chinese village, located in Huichang CountyJunmenling Town, about 20 minutes from Hanxianyan Scenic Area Arriving right and left.It is a famous historical and cultural village in Jiangxi Province, and more importantly, it is the only remaining large-scale military castle from the Ming and Qing Dynasties in southern Jiangxi.
Sheep's Horn Water Castle is surrounded by water on three sides. When viewed from the air, the entire water surface looks like a sheep's horn, hence its name. The city wall at the foot has been restored according to its original appearance, and the 1,029-meter-long horse racing track surrounds the village. It is easy to defend and difficult to attack. It is also located at the junction of three provinces, so it has been a military fortress for hundreds of years. It can be said that it is "A small place can control a thousand miles away."
Since the Western Han Dynasty, the famous general Zhou Yafu has garrisoned here. The Yangjiao Fort City was actually built in the 22nd year of Jiajing in the Ming Dynasty. The city wall is 3,000 feet around, 13 feet high, and has 564 crenellations. A strategic defense base during the Qing Dynasty, it was also an orderly village. During the Ming and Qing dynasties, the Yangtze Castle had many public places such as military offices, government offices, mansions, ancestral halls, wharves, and fairgrounds. The castle was home to military, civilian, and businessmen. Because it was located on the main road of water and land transportation, it was on the east side of the castle. There is Yangjiaowei, where cargo ships, merchants, mules, horses, porters, etc. pass by in an endless stream, making it very lively.
The ancient castle has three city gates. Walking through it, you can see a large number of residential buildings and ancestral halls from the Ming and Qing dynasties and the Republic of China. The lady explaining it said that there were 34 ancestral halls, temples and residential buildings in the Ming and Qing Dynasties alone. There is also a complete City God's Temple preserved in the fort. It is a rare City God's temple built outside a prefectural city in Jiangxi. It has carved beams and painted columns, and delicate brushwork, which is extremely precious.
Inside the fort there is the Jiexiaofang built in the fourth year of Qianlong (1665) to honor the Lan family, a She woman in Yangjiaocheng, who "revealed the Lan family, the wife of the scholar Zhou Daoming", as well as the complete ancient streets.
To this day, a large number of military, residential buildings and other public facilities remain in the castle with a history of more than 400 years. As a military-civilian castle that was once built by a mixture of ethnic minorities and Han people, it is indeed rare in the country to be so well-preserved and has extremely important historical and cultural value.
Not far from the Giethoorn Water Castle, there is a forest with more than 2,000 ancient pine trees, the oldest of which is more than 600 years old. This time we saw Masson pine and camphor tree that are more than 300 years old. The tour guide said that the locals have a custom that if they give birth to a daughter, they must plant a camphor tree. When the girl gets married, the tree will be cut down to make a dowry.
How to distinguish masson pine and camphor tree in the forest? The former depends on the height, the latter depends on the width, and the smell of camphor trees will only come out when it rains. If you have the opportunity, you might as well go and verify it!

Similar to Han Xianyan, this place is also named because Han Zhongli, one of the Eight Immortals, once practiced here to become an immortal. Hanxian Lake, located in the middle reaches of the Xiangzi River, was rated as a national water conservancy scenic spot in 2010. The Shili Gallery of Hanxian Lake is located in the northeast of the main scenic spot of Hanxian Rock and the upper reaches of the Xiangjiang River, the mother river of Huichang. It flows from the main scenic spot of Hanxian Rock for more than 10 kilometers from south to north and flows into the Xiangjiang River.
Hanxian Lake Canyon is famous for its unique shapes of Danxia rocks. The canyon is circuitous and the lake surface has nine twists and turns. There are hamburger-shaped Danxia hanging high here, and Huba-like peaks and rocks. As the cruise ship slowly moves, huge rocks that look like falcons from a distance and frogs from a closer look stand in the lake. These are either beautiful or quiet. The various forms of landscapes and stone peaks show people the beauty of natural sculptures.

The hotel accommodation area of ​​Hanxian Hot Spring Resort is separated from the hot spring area by a green square. I changed into a swimsuit and nightgown in the room and walked across the square to the hot spring area.

Hot Spring has 88 special pools. There are many kinds of pavilions, caves, lakes, ponds, canals, basins, showers, etc., with different shapes, which are very artistic. A group of us planned to try each one, but we still didn’t finish it because there were too many. I had to choose a few special ones, including the ginger soup pool. I soaked in the warm water for a long time, and I didn’t feel cold even when I walked back to the accommodation area from the hot spring area late at night. You can smell the liquor pool from a distance, and people will get drunk before they arrive. I heard that drinking here can increase the amount of alcohol you drink. There are also beauty pools for skin whitening, lovely fish therapy pools, Bagua pools built in caves, where you can stare at the stars in a daze, etc. The pools here are very private and create a good atmosphere. Tips: Be sure to try the hot spring eggs here, which are native eggs from authentic native chickens raised in nearby farmers. It is not cooked with boiling water, but with hot spring water from a depth of 385 meters underground and heated to 80 degrees. The egg yolk is cooked first, and the egg white becomes bean curd-like.
