Trey Lyles started the game and made 10 of 14 shots and scored 24 points and 6 rebounds with high efficiency. Harrison Barnes scored 23 points. Domantas Sabonis made 7 of 8 shots and scored 14 points and 16 rebounds. 7 assists, but also made 8 turnovers; substitutes Davion Mitchell and Donte DiVincenzo also scored 13 points, 14 points, 5 rebounds and 4 assists each.
The two sides were tied in the first half, but the Kings scored 72 points in the second half with a 61.7% shooting rate. Overall, we did a good job in controlling the rhythm and handled the ball in a reasonable way in the second half, especially in the third quarter. Kings head coach Alvin Gentry said; while the Thunder coach said: We allowed the Kings players to get too many easy points.
Shai Gilgeous-Alexander showed excellent touch in this campaign. He made 12 of 16 shots and scored 37 points, 10 assists, 7 rebounds and 3 steals. The coach couldn't help but praise him. I would be shocked if he doesn't make the All-Star Game next year.
