project selected 5,000 passenger elevators in public places, important and major event venues, densely populated areas and resorts in Kunming. At present, the resort has achieved full coverage. Over 60% of Kunming's elevators are guarded by four-star or above maintenance companies

In September this year, the star rating of elevator maintenance units was launched for the first time in the city, providing elevator users with reference standards for selecting maintenance units. From August to November, expert reviewers conducted star-ratings for elevator maintenance units in the city from aspects such as elevator maintenance service quality, service facilities, service environment, public welfare services and service implementation. After strict evaluation, 3 five-star units were finally evaluated, namely Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator Co., Ltd. Yunnan Branch, Kunming Kun'ao Elevator Co., Ltd., and Kunming Andis Elevator Engineering Co., Ltd.; 29 four-star elevator maintenance units companies, including Schindler (China) Elevator Co., Ltd. Kunming Branch, Hitachi Elevator (China) Co., Ltd. Yunnan Branch, Thyssen Elevator Co., Ltd. Kunming Branch, etc.; in addition, 26 three-star elevator maintenance units have been rated There are 18 two-star hotels, 15 one-star hotels and 69 non-star hotels. In this evaluation, there were 58 elevator maintenance units with three stars or above, accounting for 36.25% of the total number of elevator maintenance units in the city. The authoritative star rating classification will provide a reference for shopping malls, property management companies and other users. Citizens can also participate in the supervision and management of elevator quality and safety based on the star rating when taking elevators.

The relevant person in charge of the Municipal Quality Supervision Bureau introduced that the star rating standards this time are strict. Three stars and above include three stars, which means that the service of the maintenance unit is qualified. Three stars and below means that the service level needs to be improved. improve. At present, the number of elevators in the city (including Dianzhong New District) has exceeded 50,000, more than half of the province, and is growing at an annual rate of 10%. Among them, more than 30,000 elevators are responsible for four-star and five-star elevator maintenance units, accounting for more than 60% of the city's elevators.

After analysis, elevator maintenance units below three stars mainly have problems such as incomplete management systems, insufficient implementation, and indifferent safety awareness. There are hidden concerns about the quality of elevator maintenance; some companies have implemented elevator liability insurance, emergency rescue platform construction, etc. Not in place, lack of awareness during the assessment, incomplete information, etc. also affect the assessment score; from the external environment, there is vicious competition in the elevator maintenance link in Kunming, resulting in the failure to guarantee the maintenance quality of the elevator, and to the safety and reliability of the elevator. Operation creates safety hazards.

In the next step, elevator maintenance units with three stars or below will be the key supervision objects of the quality supervision department, urging enterprises to make timely rectifications. Stars can be upgraded based on the rectification situation and service level. In addition, based on the work of the maintenance units, the quality supervision department will issue a blacklist of elevator maintenance units every year and submit it to the Industry and Information Technology Commission to be listed as untrustworthy enterprises, and urge the user units not to choose maintenance enterprises included in the blacklist. It is reported that the star rating standards will be announced once a year, and the star standards will change dynamically. If there are many complaints during the operation of the elevator and the service level drops, the star rating will be reduced according to the situation.
