I found a job at the end of my senior year. Thank you @Unilever for giving me this opportunity.

Background: 985 undergraduate degree, unpopular major, no scholarship, FMCG sales internship, Shanghai household registration, girl’s destination: Unilever Ecommerce Specialist

Starting from the autumn recruitment, I have been looking for a job for more than half a year, interviewed by various companies, and crossed many industries. . I heard from my seniors that interview opportunities in small companies can be used as practice, so I submitted a lot of resumes and participated in many interviews. But the fact is that I don’t want to go to a small or medium-sized company. During the interview, my motivation is not strong, and HR will definitely feel it. Even if I get an offer, I will refuse it. The interview patterns of many companies are similar, so after interviewing several companies, I have no choice. If you get more lessons, you will waste a lot of time on the road and fragment your time.

Lesson 1 If you only want to go to a big company, don't interview so many small companies.

Many companies recruit management trainees. Personally, I feel that the MT program (autumn recruitment) of large foreign companies is worth a try. It has clear training goals and a comprehensive training plan. However, the MTs recruited by many companies on the market are just a gimmick to attract attention. They are just for work when they are recruited, and they are not much different from ordinary employees. During the autumn recruitment period, I have been racing against the online application deadline, rushing to apply online before 24:00 on the day of the deadline. As a result, only two companies passed the online application process, PG and Unilever. I have to lament that these two companies strictly followed the rules. The fact is that many companies have already started screening resumes before the online application is completed. When the number of qualified resumes has met the company's recruitment needs, HR does not need to waste more energy screening more qualified resumes. .

is very aware that his weakness lies in the English group interview. In the strict MT recruitment process, the first round of interviews is often a telephone interview (all in English) or a group interview (all in English or partial English). Therefore, my probability of success in the MT interview is very small.

can also prepare for electronic interviews and group interviews, but I don’t have much advice for you. The reason why I meet so many groups is because I speak less. My feeling is that if you can be a leader, try to be a leader, and a presenter is not bad. Talk as much as possible, at least HR can have an impression of you! Certainly not just repeating the views of others.

Lesson 2 If you want to become a foreign company MT, English is the stepping stone, so improve your English as soon as possible (freshman or sophomore year)!

Leadership is really hard to say... Let’s talk about the recruitment process of ordinary employees at Unilever. After submitting my resume online, I received an interview within two days. The HR was very nice and asked some basic questions about the job requirements. Interview questions, understanding of job responsibilities, an open scenario simulation question, salary expectations, feel free to ask if you don’t understand anything. I received the notification for the 1V1 interview within a week.

The second interviewer is the department head. Based on your experience, he asked you about your thoughts on what you have done and your thoughts and applications on current digital marketing. I felt that my answer was very bad (palmed my face). Seeing that mgr couldn't ask me any more questions, she asked me if I had any questions for her. At this time, I had nothing to think about, so I asked very common questions, and I only listened to half of mgr’s answers (I covered my face again), and my expression might have been a little stiff at that time. At the end, I felt very unwilling and finally relaxed and expressed my yearning for a position in the company. mgr kindly sent me downstairs and said he would give me an answer.

received an interview from HR (English, question and answer format) that afternoon. When I answered very poorly, HR said they would give me another English test next week. A full week later, HR called me in advance to confirm the time for the English speaking test, so I dragged two roommates to practice speaking for a whole afternoon. I received a phone interview from HR (English, conversational format) at the appointed time in the afternoon. After the interview, HR JJ smiled.

received a verbal offer the next day.

Lesson 3 For fresh graduates who do not have much work experience, the final interview will often test your insight. Do you pay attention to this industry/marketing classic marketing cases on weekdays? Have you thought deeply about industry trends/marketing trends? Possible opportunities in the future Where... Your answer does not have to be correct, but it can clearly show the interviewer your understanding of the industry/marketing.

remembers that I was moving boxes in another company's warehouse when I received the offer. I wasn't very excited at the time. Later, I became more and more happy when I thought that I could work in the marketing department of Unilever. Now I am writing down the entire interview experience, only to realize that the process from interview to recruitment is not easy. I sincerely thank mgr for trusting me and the very considerate HR. I hope to improve myself through hard work and live up to all the people who have helped me on my job search. .
