In fact, this is not the case. Mozi Salon invited three alumni who entered the junior class of the University of Science and Technology of China in 1998 and are now successful in their careers. Bian Qian, a biology major, has always been passionate about life sciences. He is now a researcher at the Ninth Affiliated Hospital of Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and the Shanghai Institute of Precision Medicine, mastering the "little secret" of genetics;
Wei Xiao, undergraduate majoring in physics. After getting a PhD in physics from Columbia University, his interest took a big turn. Now he is a professor at School of Economics, Fudan University, studying the economic principles behind everyone’s grocery shopping;

Bian Qian, researcher and doctoral supervisor at the Ninth People's Hospital affiliated to Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine and Shanghai Institute of Precision Medicine, Shanghai Distinguished Professor of University (Oriental Scholar), Shanghai Pujiang Talent. Obtained a bachelor's degree from the Junior Class of the University of Science and Technology of China in 2003. In 2011, he obtained a PhD in biophysics and computational biology from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. From 2011 to 2017, he worked at the University of California, Berkeley. Postdoctoral research, he has been a researcher at Shanghai Jiao Tong University School of Medicine since October 2017. His main research directions are the three-dimensional structure of the genome, epigenetics and gene regulatory mechanisms in aging and stress response. As the first author or co-first author, he has published many academic papers in authoritative international journals such as Cell, Nature, PNAS and Journal of Cell Biology.
Wei Xiao is currently a professor at the School of Economics at Fudan University, a top-notch young talent in the National “Ten Thousand Talents Plan”, and a distinguished expert of the Shanghai Talent Plan. He graduated from the Junior Class of the University of Science and Technology of China in 2003 and received his PhD in physics from Columbia University (Columbia University) in 2010. The research direction is microeconomic theory and behavioral economics. The research results are published in American Economic Reivew, Journal of Economic Theory, American Economic Journal: Microeconomics, Economic Journal and other first-class international economics journals.
Hong Yixiu, a partner of Yonghua Investment. Graduated from the Junior Class of the University of Science and Technology of China with a bachelor's degree and a master's degree. He mainly focuses on early-stage investment opportunities in enterprise services, artificial intelligence and education. He has led the investment and management of more than 70 companies, including Cambrian, Ding Dong Maicai, Huina Technology, etc. Since its establishment in 2014, the management scale of Yonghua’s early-stage funds under his responsibility has exceeded RMB 2 billion.
