He was urgently transferred to the intensive care unit for intubation. He was treated with immune globulin and steroids, and ECMO was used every other day. Still unable to recover his blood pressure, he passed away on June 20. The cause of death was acute hepatitis, rhabdomyolysis, multiple organ failure, and COVID-19 infection. It was determined that COVID-19 was not the main cause of death.
