Like the case brought in this issue, the life principle of the homeowners and his wife is that they will never leave anything at home if they are not needed. In addition, they have two children at home, and they want to give them a completely open and free living environment. Therefore, the entire space design also adheres to minimalism . This case is located in Taipei, with an area of 140 square meters and a family of four. Regarding space requirements, as mentioned above, likes simple and clean design, and hopes that all the clutter in the home can be hidden . The original house type of

However, since the owner only needs three bedrooms and the interaction of the space is relatively poor, during the layout renovation, part of the spatial structure was reorganized to make it more in line with the owner's living needs.

Based on the needs of the homeowner, the space layout was modified as follows
1. The rooms on both sides of the living room were removed to allow the space to achieve an integrated structure.
2. The master bedroom adopts an ensuite design, integrating the functions of study, sleeping, storage and bathroom.
3. Reorganize the structure of the children's room and extend it into a guest bathroom with a three-part structure and a storage room.
4. The door opening of the north balcony was changed to the kitchen and used as an independent housekeeping area.
Entrance
When the entrance garden is incorporated into the living room, although there is less independent space at the entrance, the low TV wall and sunken floor design also play a role in defining the space area and further enhance the visual extension. The use of pure gray and white elements also sets a minimalist and high-end tone for the space from the moment you enter.
The entrance shoe cabinet has a suspended structure and is designed on the right side of the entrance to solve the storage needs of the whole family. At the same time, the white flat cabinet doors adopt a handle-less design, which also effectively improves the tidiness of the space and avoids obtrusiveness.
In addition, on the left side of the entrance, an independent utility room was planned using the area of the children's room. Firstly, it supplements the storage in the entrance area, and secondly, it also facilitates the placement of children's toys and strollers, making the interior more concise and clean.
Living room
Through the entrance, you will find the reorganized living room. The minimalist hard decoration and restrained soft decoration selection not only restore the purity of the space, but also truly allow the residents to have an unfettered living place.
The walls and floors are painted with microcement, and a large number of log materials are interspersed, which not only effectively balances the toughness and warmth of the space, but also highlights the high-end tone.

When the living room presents an integrated structure, the floor near the window seems to have naturally formed a natural viewing frame. Even if there is no landscape scenery outside, the invincible lighting environment still gives the residents a pleasant mood. At the same time, when the floor planks are lifted, a large amount of storage space is hidden at the bottom.
Restaurant
came to the restaurant, breaking the traditional impression that the island can be used for storage, and extending a bar counter in the form of a low wall, which not only achieves harmony and unity with the whole, but also visually reduces the volume, making the space more concise.The dining table is designed with thick wooden boards and paired with a glass leg table, which immediately creates a floating feeling.
A light snack area has been added inside the restaurant, and some kitchen appliances have been integrated here. This not only relieves the space pressure in the kitchen, but also facilitates the preparation of some simple light meals, thereby making life activities more efficient.
Kitchen
The kitchen area is not large, and the door opening of the living balcony is changed from the kitchen, so only a set of straight-shaped cabinets are designed. Although it looks quite compact, it is completely sufficient when the restaurant has a light food area.
The kitchen floor is divided into gray and black, and is paired with white cabinets. Even if the tone of the space is too deep, it is not depressing at all, and instead makes the space more three-dimensional.
Study room
Open the sliding door next to the light cabinet, and you will find the study room hidden in the master bedroom. Since the floor of the living room has also been extended, the area of the living room can be regarded as being extended. In this way, even in the office, you can observe your children's every move in the living room at any time, making daily communication truly barrier-free.
Master bedroom
Next to the study is the sleeping area of the master bedroom, and the entire space is connected in series through a light strip on the bedside wall. Abandoning the traditional finished bed and choosing a low platform bed not only forms a three-dimensional layer with the study floor, but also creates an unconstrained spatial form once again.
Cloakroom
On the left side of the sleeping area is the cloakroom, which bears the needs of daily living and changing clothes. At the same time, the hollow design is used on both sides of the cabinet, which also visually creates a sense of space that is separated and continuous.
Bathroom
Inside the cloakroom is the main bathroom. The independent shower room, bathtub and double basin design maximize the comfort of use.
Children's Room
After the reorganization of the children's room, a transitional space is reserved at the door, so that the movement of the space will not appear too cramped. In addition, it also facilitates the design of the utility room on the left and the toilet room on the right.
The two children's rooms are designed with a large amount of white space. In addition to making the space more concise and clean, it also retains more imagination for the space, which is convenient for the children to fill in by themselves.
