I know nothing about decoration, but fortunately, Ningbo Local colleagues and friends helped me find and contact decoration matters. The working plumbers, plasterers and painters are all very professional and practical. They accompanied me to discuss prices, buy materials, and work hard to make suggestions. Therefore, I bought all the materials that are good and cheap and environmentally friendly. For example, I bought a narrow and short floor made of scraps, which is unique on the market. However, the material was ash, which was considered a very good material at that time and the quality was also very good. After nailing, it is very firm and tight, and it is not deformed. It has been intact after living in eight years. But it was hard for the carpentry and it took twice as much time to nail the floor. Fortunately, the carpenter is a fellow villager from the Northeast who volunteered to help me, which saved me the labor expenses of carpenters. The painter is working in our community and takes the initiative to come to take on the job. He invited me to see the paint effect he made on site, which was indeed good. This painter is a rooftop man and I basically don’t understand what he says. However, when gesturing and saying "terminality" on the spot, the roughly meaning is clear. His sincerity can also be seen from his eyes. So, the last process was handed over to him. It was not easy for him to leave his family and work alone, and he had to solve the problem of eating by himself, even if he had a helper to ask if he had any questions. My residence is far from my new house, and I can't help him solve the problem of eating.
Moving to a new house to invite friends to meet on National Day
After nearly half a year of renovation, we finally moved into our new house in late August 1995, just before school starts. Later, Teacher Li's family, Teacher Chang and Teacher Sun's family from the Northeast also moved into our Henghe Road Teacher Building one after another. Teacher Li and I are neighbors opposite each other again. We customized an iron gate. During the day, the iron general kept the door very safe. When you come back in the evening or on holidays, the iron door locks open to the door, which means a family. On weekdays, we will go back to our house to cook and have dinner, and we will fight our house together on weekends, winter and summer vacations. Eat the same pot of rice and drink a pot of wine together. At that time, there was a wasteland east of Henghe Road, and Mingzhou East Road was dead here. From Mingzhou Road, walk straight to the path to enter the community, with vegetable fields on both sides. There is a huge pond in front of the teacher's building, with many lush plants and several big trees. In summer, you can hear frogs and various birds singing throughout the day. When you go to work, snakes often appear and block the way. Teacher Li once caught a snake on the way off work and came back to stew soup for the two children, saying that it could prevent mosquito bites.

lived in the Henghe Road Teacher Building for eight years, and it was a very unforgettable day. There are dozens of families living in the two buildings, except for a few bureau officials, most of them are ordinary teachers. Although we come from different regions thousands of kilometers apart, we have different living habits and even the language of communication is very different. However, this does not affect our friendship at all. Whether it is in the bureau or outside, whether it is local or transferred from outside, everyone respects and tolerates each other and gets along very well together. Especially for families of similar age, we get closer together. Because children are about the same size, because children have more intersections.
Some neighbors' children
In those years, due to the needs of the development of Beilun , a large number of people have poured in one after another. There was only one colleague who came to Ningbo with me, and only one nephew's family with relatives. Later, the population of Ningbo, which was my colleague, was at least two or three hundred. Teacher Chang, who came with me from Yingkou, Liaoning, also attracted two or three hundred people to Beilun. Teacher Li introduced more than a dozen, perhaps more than twenty primary and secondary school teachers from Qinghai to Ningbo. Their family has become the "Qinghai Ningbo Office", and people come to find jobs almost all year round. Some people stayed in their house for several months, but they were troubled but they were always bothered, which was admirable. Our two are from the Northeast and our other one is from the Northwest. Everyone jokingly calls us "Sioreast tiger" and "Northwest wolf", and our home has become a veritable "tiger den and wolf nest".The Chinese New Year is very lively every year, and we welcome groups of friends together. Everyone chatted in this room, then went to the room to drink tea, which was jokingly called "just leaving the tiger's den and entering the wolf's den." Sometimes the two tables were very crowded when eating, but fortunately the children were not interested in fighting and decided quickly. Free up the territory for adults to drink and drink with joy. Large pieces of beef, mutton, noodle slices in the northwest, stews in the northeast, stews in the northeast, and dumplings are all very popular. Of course, seafood and Ningbo dishes will not be absent. Everyone has also adapted to Ningbo's delicious food, especially the various seafoods of Donghai . One of my best dishes is chicken stewed mushrooms . After eating the mushrooms and chicken, I continued boiling water over and over again. Everyone was drinking wine while drinking "chicken soup". Although they were all clear soup but they still drank delicious food. They all praised the "chicken soup" for being delicious. Even whenever I talk about it, everyone still talks about it, and the taste is unforgettable. In recent years, as children have successively taken the college entrance examination, started a family and started a career, and had children, the focus of the family has gradually shifted to the children, and everyone has fewer opportunities to gather. Occasionally, when someone’s children hold weddings, everyone can take this opportunity to get together and recall the beautiful pasts of the past.
