Dear natural gas customers:
Winter is the peak season for natural gas accidents. People in the whole district should not ignore gas safety during the epidemic prevention period. Please pay attention to the following matters:
1. Develop good gas use habits of "people don't leave the fire, people walk away to turn off the gas, keep ventilation", and eliminate the use of natural gas in a closed environment with poor ventilation; if there is no one in the home for a long time, be sure to close the gas valve.
2. It is strictly forbidden to use equipment that directly burns natural gas for heating indoors.
3. gas water heater should be set in a well-ventilated position (it is strictly prohibited to be set in bedrooms, bathrooms, and bathrooms). Please make sure that the water heater flue directly extends out of the outdoors (to ensure that the exhaust gas can be discharged directly from the outdoors), and the connection is firm and intact and without damage.
4. Regularly check whether the natural gas facilities, pipeline joints, connecting hoses, combustion appliances, etc. at home are leaking. You can check by smelling the smell, applying detergent with water, observing the reading of gas meter and . If you smell a irritating odor, the application area continues to bubbling, or the gas meter reading (the last digit in the reading window) is still moving without using gas, you can preliminarily determine that there is a leakage and do not use open flame to check for leakage.
5. Please ensure that the gas leakage alarm and safety self-closing valve at home operate normally. When the alarm detects the concentration of combustible gas, an acoustic and light alarm will be issued, and the gas source at home will be automatically cut off; when natural gas is underpressure, overpressure or overcurrent, the safety self-closing valve will automatically cut off the gas source of the gas stove. Recovery may be sought with the assistance of professionals.
6. If a natural gas leak is found, the following emergency measures can be taken: ① Close the main valve immediately and cut off the gas source. ② Open the doors and windows and ventilate naturally.
