wire-clamped glass is also called shatterproof glass. It is made by heating ordinary flat glass to a red-hot softened state, and then pressing the preheated wire or wire mesh into the middle of the glass. Its characteristic is that it has excellent fire resistance, can block flames, does not explode when burning at high temperatures, and will not cause debris to injure people when broken.

is a type of special glass formed by pressing the wire mesh into a semi-liquid glass tape during the calendering production process. The advantage is that it has a higher strength than ordinary glass. When the glass is impacted or the temperature changes drastically, it will break without shortage, crack and not disperse, and avoid small pieces of edges and corners from flying out and hurting people. If a fire spreads, the wire-clamped glass can still remain in a fixed state when it is heated and explodes, and plays a role in isolating the fire. Therefore, it is also called fireproof glass . The disadvantage is that during the production process, the wire mesh is easily oxidized by high temperature radiation, and yellow and bubbles like "rust spots" may appear on the glass surface.

Wire-clamped glass is something to be paid attention to during transportation:

1. Wire-clamped glass is packaged in containers, container racks or wooden boxes. Each piece of glass is packaged in plastic bags or paper. The glass and the packaging box are filled with light and soft materials that are not easy to cause glass scratches. The words "Face up, put carefully" and other signs of the glass and the thickness, specifications, types or trademarks should be marked outside each packaging box.

2. When transporting wire-clad glass, the glass must not be placed flat or obliquely. The length direction should be the same as the transportation direction of the vehicle, and there should be rainproof facilities. When handling glass, it should avoid collision with hard objects to avoid damaging the glass. Products that are not used for the time being should be stored in a dry room, placed vertically on the A-shaped shelf, inclined 5-100 with the vertical surface, and fixed with a rope.

3. Before installing wire-clad glass, high-temperature exposure, high-temperature rain and other climate environments, the glass at the construction site should be stored in a ventilated and dry place. In case of sudden weather changes or heavy rain, construction personnel should check the site in a timely manner to prevent the glass packaging box from soaking in water, causing water seepage and discoloration on the edges of wire-clad glass.

4. Do not install wire-clamped glass savagely during the installation process, and hold it gently and use even force. The window frame should be made of high-precision products that are not prone to rust. At the same time, the difference in thermal expansion coefficients of glass and frame materials should be fully considered, leaving room for space. The sizes of the glass and window frames should be matched. The glass should be small rather than large, but the depth of the glass bite and the depth of the window frame groove should be in line with the requirements. Using four-sided frames, it is necessary to consider the easy and quick removal of rainwater and dew condensation when designing. Keep the glass dry.

5. The metal frame cannot directly contact the glass. High-quality sealing materials should be used to fill the glass and the frame, and pay attention to the compatibility of the sealing material and the PVB film.
