There is no sad character, only the stories that persist in the heart are often the most touching.
This single father and daughter depend on each other. There are too many old houses of 50 square meters. The aging routes make the family often feel like they are jumping on "disco". He couldn't afford a new house and decided to renovate this old house for his daughter. In the end, he spent 92 days, and the effect was really great!
design drawing
This is an old house with a history of more than 20 years. The surrounding community environment is pretty good, but the old house that has lived in for many years, its equipment and circuits cannot carry the current life.
In order to rebirth the old house, Mr. Chang communicated with the designer of Dashu Shangpin many times and finally decided to build the 50㎡ old house into a Nordic home, which not only facilitates daily living, but also allows his daughter to have a small wedding house in the future.
20-year-old house facing problems
This old house, which was more than 20 years ago, is a traditional housing structure and can no longer meet the lifestyle of modern people. In addition, the water circuits in the old house are too old to support today's high-power appliances.
Enter Mr. Chang's old house and you can see that there is not much storage function in the room, which leads to messyness. Some furniture and walls are seriously damaged, and the roof of the house is even leaking and moldy. Such a house can barely live in, but it does affect the quality of life.
During the on-site investigation, the designer learned that Mr. Chang himself grew up in an orphanage and worked alone outside. Last September, my wife ran away, leaving only her daughter and herself.
Although my daughter can take care of herself at home, Mr. Chang still hopes to renovate and visit this old house. In the future, the house can be used as a wedding house for your daughter and you can have your own free space.
In this case, the remodeled designer has 15 years of experience. During the transformation process, he focused on "people-oriented" and used existing resources to transform the spatial pattern.
Four major residential difficulties
In the process of exploring old houses, the designer discovered a problem. This old house with a history of more than 20 years has four major living difficulties:
① Insufficient storage space in the entrance hall, resulting in messy space;
② The roof of the house is leaking and moldy, affecting living comfort;
(3) The walls are aging and look messy;
④ Insufficient use of space leads to wasting space.
At the same time, in the original space, the living room and dining room are in the entrance, and the traffic lines are not privacy and messy. At the same time, the space utilization rate is too low, resulting in small space and serious aging of many facilities.
Old house renovation plan
①:Moving line processing
The designer decided to carry out three key transformations in the spatial structure based on the specific situation of Mr. Chang’s home. The first point is reasonable handling on the moving line.
The movement of the entrance hall is quite messy. The designer added door frame design in this position to buffer the entrance hall space and make the space more flexible.
②: Rational design
entrance position is facing the bathroom door. This is extremely unreasonable in Feng Shui and structure. So during the renovation, the designer moved the door to the kitchen, which not only considered Feng Shui but also made the home more comfortable.
③: Expand the sense of space
The old house used to have a centralized garbage can in a residential area, but now it has lost its function. The designer used this 2 square meter space to open it, adding a shower room space to the home, further expanding the space.
The entrance before the renovation VS The entrance after the renovation
With the designer's unique intention, the entrance was re-arranged and a layer of white wall was painted, giving it a more luxurious Nordic style beauty. The original foyer uses a wall as a partition and a turning point to make the entrance more imposing. During the specific implementation, the following six measures will be used to enhance happiness:
Renovation of the front living room vs Renovation of the rear living room
The renovation of the foyer adds a small space to the living room.The designer added an old wall design to the left side of the living room. Through comparison, the living room has a feeling of blending the old and the new.
Before renovating the daughter's room vs After renovating the daughter's room
The renovation of the daughter's room maintained the original layout, but the original wardrobe with a swing door turned into a wardrobe with a sliding door, optimizing the space utilization rate. At the same time, it still follows the Nordic style, and my daughter's room has a fresh style.
Master bedroom before renovation vs Master bedroom after renovation
The original master bedroom was transformed into a tatami space. Mr. Chang said that the master bedroom should be transformed into a second bedroom so that his daughter can have a storage space or study in the future. Therefore, the storage function is emphasized, such as bookcases and storage cabinets under tatami.
At the same time, because the corridor has been redecorated and renovated, this part has an additional space. The designer transformed it into a cloakroom to facilitate daily clothing storage.
Before renovating the kitchen vs after renovating the kitchen
The original kitchen was an old-fashioned kitchen from the 1980s and looked messy. After the designer's transformation, the space is perfectly utilized, and the position of the line transformation window will be moved, so that even two people are cooking in the kitchen will not be crowded.
Bathroom before renovation vs bathroom
Bathroom design after renovation, re-function planning. Through the form of wall rows, the drainage is moved to the middle, so that the bathroom has a functional division of dry and wet separation. The exquisite bathroom space facilitates Mr. Chang's daily use.
Through the re-division of the functional area, the designer finally transformed Mr. Chang's old house into a Nordic home. Unexpectedly, the old house can have such a broad view of space. Let's take a look at the last scene after the transformation.
▼After renovating the entrance space, entering the house is a sense of high-end.
▼The living room behind is transformed, and the old and the old are blended together. Although the living room is small, it is warm enough.
▼ After renovating the daughter's room, she looks even more girlish.
▼The renovated master bedroom/ has become a tatami space.
▼The original unnecessary corridor space has added the embedded wardrobe design, adding space storage function.
▼The remodeled kitchen/looks very modern and spacious, enough for two people to make a big meal in the kitchen together.
▼ The design of the renovated bathroom is to separate wet and dry to meet daily needs.
After the renovation and construction of this old house, Mr. Chang also expressed his wish: the reason for renovating this old house is to leave a dream for his daughter when he is old, whether it is a wedding house or a mother's home , at least he can have a home to accompany her and replace her father.
