[Reason 1] The waterproof layer is damaged

Generally, after the bathroom waterproofing, the water-closed test will be carried out, and the tiles will be laid after the test. During the process of laying ceramic tiles, the stones under the worker's feet and the corners of the tiles may cause the waterproof layer to be damaged.
Maintenance method: depends on the size of the leakage point. If the leakage range is relatively large, it is piece by piece, or a line is leaking outward, you can only remove the entire bathroom and renovate it.
But if the leak point is relatively small, it is just a point leaking, you can use a permeable waterproofing agent to make up for the leakage.
This waterproofing agent has extremely strong permeability and can reach the water leakage point through the ceramic tiles and cover it to dry when it is covered. After drying, a waterproof film is formed to achieve the purpose of leak repair.
[Reason 2] There are actually imperfections in the waterproof layer leakage

The wall of the bathroom seeps water, or overflows at the door, can also cause water leakage. Causes mold, bulging, alkaline, and shedding on the wall.
Maintenance method: First make a preliminary judgment on the leaking position based on the location of the damaged wall.
If the damaged wall is at the bathroom door, it is likely that water will overflow from the bathroom door. There are two ways to deal with it at this time:
1. Remove all the tiles (wooden floors) at the door and apply a waterproof layer within 1㎡ outside the bathroom door (this is best done during the decoration).
2. Only remove one or two pieces of ceramic tiles (wood floors) at the door, and install threshold stone at the bathroom door. Stone has a water barrier effect and can block all the water in the bathroom door.
If other walls are leaking, it is likely that the walls are not waterproofed properly. At this time, it is recommended to use high-pressure grouting to make up for leaks: drill holes on the wall on the partition wall of the bathroom, use a high-pressure grouting machine to punch waterproof slurry into it to fill the water leakage point on the waterproof layer.
[Reason 3] Water pipe is damaged
The characteristics of water pipe are: the leakage speed is fast and the leakage range is rapidly expanded. And even if you don’t need water at home, it’s still leaking. There are many reasons for water pipe breakage, which may be installation problems (the joints are not done well), or later damage (the water pipe was broken during decoration).
There are also many types of water pipes, which may be cold water pipes, hot water pipes, or drainage pipes. There are different maintenance plans for different pipes.
Maintenance method:
Cold water pipe/hot water pipe/heating pipe— Need to find the leak point. There is now an infrared detector that can penetrate the tiles and cement on the surface of the water pipe and see the water flow inside. At the location of the leak point, you can see a large amount of water overflow.
There are no professional tools, you can also use your ears, or use the stethoscope .At normal pipe location, you can hear the sound of water flow. In the leaking area, you can hear the "squirting" sound of water spray (just like the sound of sprinklers in the park).
After finding the leak point, remove the tiles near the leak point, cut off the leaking section of the pipe, and replace it with a new pipe. ’s key is to find the leak point and accurately remove the tiles to minimize the losses.

If the water leakage point is too large and the pipe cracks directly, the pipe needs to be replaced. It is not troublesome to replace the pipe. Cut off the pipe in the damaged position and replace it with a new pipe.
