First point, pay attention to the intensity of light
Autumn is the most important time for camellia to conceive buds. In order to make the camellia grow more buds, it must be placed in gentle light in time. Never be exposed to strong light, nor can it be completely lost. When the temperature exceeds 28 degrees, the noon light should be slightly blocked to avoid burns. If the temperature is between 15 and 25 degrees, it can be placed on the windowsill or balcony on the south side, ensuring 6 to 8 hours of full sunshine every day, and a strong and plump flower bud can grow.
Second point, pay attention to the problem of watering
September and October are camellias. When it is important to breed buds, we often see camellias full of buds in the flower market. After the buds grow, if the soil is in a dry state for a long time, the buds are prone to fall off. Therefore, watering must be done in time, but it should not be watered too much. If the watering is too frequent, the root system will also cause the buds to fall off. Generally, it is enough to wait until the topsoil is dry before watering. Because camellia likes to grow in slightly acidic flower soil, when watering, add a spoonful of vinegar to the water to adjust the acidity and alkalinity, it is more conducive to the firm growth of the buds. It does not need to be too frequent, just once a month.
Third point, it is not recommended to repot in autumn
We also mentioned above that camellia will breed buds in autumn, so it is not suitable to change soil and pots for camellia at this time. This will allow the roots to adapt to the new environment again, thereby absorbing too much nutrients, causing the buds to fall off, and it is very likely that they will not bloom in the past. So if the soil will not have much impact on growth, then wait until the flowering period is completely over next spring, then turn the soil and change the pot.
The fourth point is, after the bud is pregnant, apply phosphorus and potassium fertilizer
The camellia after the buds grow must be used in time. If the phosphorus and potassium fertilizer in the plant body is not enough, it will not have the ability to develop, so that even if the buds grow, it will not bloom. It is recommended to use water-soluble fertilizers, such as potassium dihydrogen phosphate and Huaduoduo No. 2, dilute 1000 times, and water them directly into the flower pot. It is very convenient. Fifth point, pay attention to Shulei
Many people's camellias growing at home. If the external environment is suitable, many buds will grow. These buds gather together, one by one, and compete for nutrients with each other will cause the buds to be very small and shriveled, so you must sparse buds.
