My family has been using a dishwasher for the third year and I basically wash it every day. The dishwasher can be said to be one of the most cost-effective investments in my home decoration!
I was particularly glad that the camera and water and electricity were reserved before the decoration, otherwise I might faint in the kitchen~
1. Background of use
My family started using a dishwasher in 2019. Although my family advised me not to buy it, including the decoration master and neighbors often said that it was unnecessary and it was not clean, but I still insisted on installing it~ I think back now that I really have to thank myself for my persistence, and the more I use it, the more I use it, the more I smell it!
Now this Panasonic A1 dishwasher is newly replaced this year. The one that was in service for 3 years and has worked diligently without falling off the chain. However, because it is a relatively old drying method of residual heat + heat exchange, there will be water droplets and residual water on the inner wall and bottom after washing, which is not suitable for storing tableware. The kitchen in the house is small without cupboard , so I specially changed the model of hot air drying and tableware storage, and the old one is brought back to my hometown to my parents, although they are not often used ~
Today, I will summarize some of the most concerned issues in the use of dishwasher with 2 machines + 3 years of experience .
2. Let’s talk about the shortcomings of the dishwasher first!
1. Before buying, no one may tell you that before putting the bowl in and washing, you must manually remove large pieces of residue.
2. No one may tell you before buying it, posing a bowl is also a technical job. If there are too many bowls or are not skilled, it will be a bit troublesome to put it on.
3. The cleaning time will be longer, but you don’t have to worry about it when put in. In addition, a longer time does not mean that the power consumption is high. The more energy-saving the mode, the longer the cleaning time.
4. The consumables required are more than hand-washed, including soft water salt + dishwashing powder + rinse agent (dishonor is not available. I will update the content of dishwasher consumables in the future)
3. What is the actual experience of the dishwasher?
1. Cleaner than hand washing
Some friends who have never used a dishwasher will always talk about the washing machine, thinking that the dishwasher will not be cleaned by hand like a washing machine.
is actually completely wrong, it doesn’t blow or black, the dishwasher is indeed cleaner than hand washing, and it’s much cleaner. Because the dishwasher is rinsed at high temperatures and high pressure above 72℃, it is impossible for hands to withstand such high temperatures and high pressures.
I will share with you the actual cleaning process. This is the state before cleaning. I specially put two more greasy pot lids in it.
This is the state after cleaning. You can see that the originally greasy pot lid has been washed shiny, the dishes are all dry, the whole bowl basket is clean and there are no water droplets.

2, Perfect replacement disinfection cabinet & cupboard
Dishwasher generally has a long-term rinse of water temperature of 72~80 degrees, and most bacteria and microorganisms have no living space. In addition to high-temperature rinsing, this one in my house will also have instantaneous high-temperature drying above 135℃. Other brands will also have ultraviolet rays, silver ions and other sterilization methods, which can directly replace the disinfection cabinet.
. Now all brands are focusing on tableware storage functions. For example, the inner cabin of my house is dry after washing, and there is basically no residual water at the bottom. If the storage function is turned on, it will be ventilated intermittently and can also be replaced by the cabinet directly.
PS: It should be noted that not all models are suitable for making cupboards. Some models have no storage design. This is the case with the old one in my house. The inner wall is still a little damp after drying, and there is water at the bottom. If you keep it for a long time, it will smell and it is not suitable for storing tableware.
If you have storage needs, you need to choose to dry thoroughly and have tableware storage function.
3. Free your hands + realize the freedom of using bowls
When there is no dishwasher, I dare not use the dish or the bone spitting plate. My mother even folded the leaflets sent by the supermarket into paper boxes and used them to fill the leftover bones when eating, just to save the number of dishes.During the holidays, there are many relatives and friends at home, and if you don’t want to wash dishes, you can only treat them with disposable dishes...
After having a dishwasher, this kind of trouble will no longer exist. You can use the dishes if you want to use them, and you have no worries about washing dishes at all, so you can realize the freedom to use the dishes!
4. The kitchen is cleaner
In this picture of my kitchen, except for this blind, the rest of the movable can be basically washed in the dishwasher. The black storage rack, oil bottle, seasoning box, and even the two cutting boards can be washed
. This blind is not as expensive as a T-shirt. I change it every year, so the whole kitchen is easy to keep clean.
5. There is no water or electricity charge as imagined. Many people think that dishwashers are very water-consuming, but in fact they are not. The dishwasher is generally recycled + high-pressure rinsing. The average water consumption is about 11 to 13 liters at a time. Even in the powerful mode, it is about 15 to 16 liters, which is even more water-saving than hand washing.
is definitely a bit expensive, but the power consumption is not high. I use it every day, and I haven't seen much higher than before. The actual perception is not obvious.
4. Is the dishwasher worth buying?
dishwasher can indeed be washed very clean, which is very certain, but it is not perfect, and it will also have some shortcomings. Although I want to praise it, it is indeed not necessary for every family, such as families with fewer people, fewer bowls or willing to wash dishes.
In addition, I still recommend installing a dishwasher. Even if it is not installed now, it is recommended to reserve a good location and water and electricity during decoration.
5. How to choose a dishwasher
I use a 15-set embedded Panasonic A1 dishwasher, which is also the second dishwasher I use. Based on the experience of using the two, I will summarize some small tips:
■The capacity is recommended to be larger, preferably more than 13 sets, you can wash pots, vegetable basins, baking trays, etc., and the placement space is more flexible.
■Dishwasher drying methods include condensation heat exchange, hot air drying, automatic door opening drying and crystal thunder drying, etc., each with its pros and cons. But my house used condensation + heat exchange drying before, and the inner wall was still wet after washing, which was not suitable for storing the bowl. Now I have changed to hot air drying, which is thoroughly dry.
■It is recommended to choose one with storage and storage, as well as disinfection, sterilization, automatic ventilation and the bottom can remove residual water, so you don’t need to take it out after washing.
■ Choose one with quick wash, which often comes in handy. I found out a few times before meals that I forgot to wash the dishes, and then used the quick wash mode, which would be done in 30 minutes if it was not dried.
