For a long time, the Moshan Castle bathed in the abundant sunshine of Provence are closely linked to the legendary story of DIOR. Flowers are blooming and green trees are shaded all year round. This garden mansion has also become the inspiration for the new La Colle Noire series of DIOR MAISON, transplanting the rich fragrance from Grass to the dining porcelain works, telling the new story of Moshan Castle and DIOR.

At the junction of the Alps on the Marina and Val, adjacent to the perfume capital Grass, the Castle of Mount Meuroux, France is located here. In 1951, Christian Dior purchased the country castle and its surrounding land. Due to long-term neglected care, the castle was almost deserted. Mr. Dior devoted himself to the renovation of the castle. To this end, he carefully designed the rooms and gardens and oversees the progress of the project.
Mr. Dior personally designed the entrance of the castle, and had someone carved Dior's logo on the stone, and placed it on the symbol of the Les Rhumbs Manor in Granville, the place of childhood residence - Rose des vents. He also redesigned and created an ornamental pond "water mirror" that is more than 40 meters long. Regarding its poetic description, in 1956, Mr. Dior wrote: "Outside the house, the stars lit up the night sky, and they dived into the flowing water of the pond as usual."
Mr. Dior's childhood residence, Les Rhumb Villa, refers to the thirty-two-quarters of the rose compass. It is named after the mosaic compass rose decoration in the foyer.
In Moshan Castle, Mr. Dior fully expressed his passion for flowers. Since purchasing, he has been tirelessly planting May roses and Grass jasmine, as well as fruit trees such as vine , olive tree , almond tree , and almond tree . Even in Paris, he closely monitors the flowering period of the garden. The fashion designer also harvested grapes himself, squeezed olive oil, and returned to the castle regularly many times to follow up on the progress of the mansion's engineering. As he wrote in his memoir: "I spent the whole day traveling through the grape trellis to prepare for the harvest. I had to go back only when it was dark."
The carefully restored Moshan Castle is lush and lush, standing on the quiet hills, overlooking the entire Montoru, where Mr. Dior often overlooks the scenery of Mount Fayans. Mr. Dior personally designed the entrance and made it into a lucky star with stones. The compass rose is reminiscent of the former residence in Granville, Normandy.
To pay tribute to Mr. Dior's love for nature and gardening, the DIOR MAISON new Moshan Castle series is themed with plant specimens, echoing the flowers in the Moshan Castle Garden. Pick representative flowers from this peach blossom land far away from the hustle and bustle of the world - lilac , carnations , roses, tulips and poppies for creation. Flowers bloom in the center of the dining plate, each flower is given different colors, and purple expresses toughness and vitality lilac flower , red expresses joy and passion, blue expresses tranquility and indifference carnations...
The colored glass candlesticks created in Italy are exquisitely crafted, adding a unique charming style to the new series. Poppy pattern printed dinner plates, dessert plates and tri-color glass candlesticks are all from the La Colle Noire collection.
In addition to color, every sentence on the dinner plate represents the fashion inspiration of each flower and DIOR. Mr. Dior draws inspiration from the appearance of the tulip to create the "New Look" series, "It is a blooming tulip that created the source of inspiration for the silhouette of 1953." Written in the tulip pattern printed dinner plate with flower form in English , bringing thoughts back to the classic shape that was popular all over the world in the 1950s.

DIOR re-purchased Moshan Castle in 2013 and regained it. Mr. Dior hopes that this garden mansion will become his real home and rebuilt a happy childhood memory in Normandy: "I hope to find a garden that protects my childhood in another environment, which will put a perfect end to my life." Faithful to the wish of the master of fashion design, the renovated Moshan Castle restores its previous elegant style and presents the fragrant flowers and French life art in the garden with vitality.
green interprets the lucky and fresh lily of the valley. Lily of the valley is Mr. Dior's favorite flower of luck. "In the spring of 1954, I proposed the design of the lily of the valley series, inspired by my lucky flower." Dinner plates and dessert plates are from the La Colle Noire series; resin knifes are from the Riviera Savana series.
Mr. Dior conceived the design of clothing and perfume in the fragrance of the Moshan Castle, and spent the leisurely time with century-old ancient trees, rare herbs and flowers that were filled with fragrance. He often invited friends to come and share the beautiful scenery. The bubbles in the glass container slowly rise in the warm sun in early autumn, bringing a hint of lazy and quiet to the afternoon. A touch of blue represents a quiet and calm carnations. Mr. Dior once said, "I recommend wearing flowers like carnations or cornflowers and ." Stained glass candlesticks, embroidered placemats, dessert plates, hand-painted glass cups, and hand-blown glass decanters are all from the La Colle Noire series.
Now, in the new Moshan Castle series of DIOR MAISON, they turn into various utensils such as bowls, plates, cups and cups that accompany daily catering and friends' gatherings.
