"The crystal curtain moves and the breeze blows, and the rose a garden fragrance." Speaking of Rose , many garden friends are familiar with it. It has been loved by literati and poets since ancient times. In modern gardens, there are excellent flower varieties of flower stands and flower walls. Every summer, flowers are lush and leaves are fragrant. Recently, when Qilin technical teacher visited the front line, he found that there were small leaf curling moths on the rose flowers. How to treat this kind of small insect?
【1】Hazardous characteristics of :
Leaf-reel moth is also known as leaf-reel moth, which is generally caused by leaf-reel or chewing leaves. The first hatched larvae are tied to the tip of the leaf, and they live in it to feed the upper epidermis and flesh, leaving the lower epidermis, causing the curled leaves to appear yellow film spots. When the food is insufficient, the larvae transfers new leaves, causing incomplete leaves or buds to become incomplete, and the older larvae eat leaves into truncated or holes, affecting flower growth.
Host plant: can harm camellia , rose , rose, begonia , cherry blossom , elm leaf plum, stem begonia , etc.
【2】The hazard rules of leaf-curling moth:
can occur for 2-3 generations in a year, and small larvae or adults can overwinter in skin gaps, weeds, and fallen leaves. Overwintering larvae bite the tender buds and leaves in mid-April; the first generation of larvae will cause damage in early and mid-June; the second generation of larvae will cause damage in mid-to-late July; and the third generation of larvae will cause damage in September.
【3】Prevention and treatment methods for leaf rolling moth:
1. Strengthen cultivation management, remove weeds, and clean the countryside to reduce insect sources.
2. When curled leaves or insect buds are found, they should be removed in time and eliminated.
3. In the peak period of adult eruption, lights can be used to lure and kill.
4. When larvae occur, you can use Qilin moth spray to kill it to effectively prevent and treat it.
